So surreal listening to this with my 1 year old when I used to listen to this when I was 15. I was falling in love with my best friend at the time. And now we’re married with a baby. Lights will always be one of my favorite artists. And now our daughter gets to grow up listening to her music as well. 🥹

Artists like lights and owl city were my safe space. So to come back here and know it’s flooded with happy memories really gets me emotional. It reminds me of when I didn’t have to worry about looking for a job. It reminds me of taking walks by myself after getting into a fight with my mom. It reminds me of silly bands. It reminds me of the crappy mp3 player I used to listen to this song on.
All these years later, I wouldn’t expect to be where I am today. (Wish things were a lot different). But damn. We’re all here sharing love for this song and what it means to us. Forever grateful for Lights and her talent ❤
