This song always makes me think of the first play I was in. I was cast as ensemble, and over time, started to realize that the actors for named characters only really hung out with each other. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’s like the lyrics were written FOR my experience with that. However, it did help me grow as an actress, and after that play, I started paying more attention to background reactions in real TV shows and films. I realized that even main characters have to react often, exactly like I was doing. By the way, I was by far the best ensemble member of that play😂. Congratulations if you read this entire thing lol

Ok funny story when I first heard this song and I really liked it ( aka I still do now ) and I asked my teacher to play it on her speaker at summer camp and I accidentally said can you pls play the song cookies 🍪 and she would say “ What?” And I would say “the song” and had she no clue what that was and never found it. I remember hearing this my senior year of high school. I had nothing I had no one. Most of my friends kinda forgot about me, I had a reputation for being a total loser, I went to prom alone and just kinda did nothing. My parents were assholes to put it bluntly and constantly told me I would have no future in anything at all.
Now I'm engaged to an absolute beauty and wonderful caring kind woman living in my own house with no mortgage to pay. Doing way better. Keep strong people, if you keep working at it life will get better but you gotta put the work in.

I don't remember how i found this song, but i found it before it was on the radio in germany. I am 28 now and this song was the soundtrack of the apprenticeship of me and my best friend that time. We started 2014 and finished 2017 our class. Fuck and this is 7 years ago already that we started. I think it was the best time of our lifes so far because we had nothing really to worry about and a lot of fun during our apprenticeship. Now, 7 years later, both of us finished our studies and we are in responsible positions in two different companies. Life is not that easy anymore. Good to remember the easy times with a beautiful soundtrack :'''))

This song always makes me think of the first play I was in. I was cast as ensemble, and over time, started to realize that the actors for named characters only really hung out with each other. It’s kind of hard to explain, but it’s like the lyrics were written FOR my experience with that. However, it did help me grow as an actress, and after that play, I started paying more attention to background reactions in real TV shows and films. I realized that even main characters have to react often, exactly like I was doing. By the way, I was by far the best ensemble member of that play😂. Congratulations if you read this entire thing lol
