Cripes girl, you are one smart cookie to turn the base inside out. I usually add the inside sentiment last and have to cut it off if I mess it up. Beautiful card! You are so pro at the smooshing. Chocolate hearts bling --yes!! Thank you.
Just gorgeous. I love how you never get upset when you "oops" and just carry on and fix it like your stamp being dropped. I am partial to sunflowers so just adored this card and how you arrived at it. I do have to do some of that smooshing! Thanks, once again, for a great video.
Sunflowers reminds me off my grandmama. She loved them. In her honor we grew on and it was almost as big as our house! Sadly she passed away 4th of august 1998. We where kids back than, she was still alive. Now I'm in my 40s and when we grew it I was a year or 6? Now you got me into ink smooching again great!
Love those sunflowers. Love that embossing folder. I think Mindy eagen had a video lately of using colored pencils to color an embossed panel. I can see doing that here-- making the tall flowers purple or pink. You always give us great ideas. 😊
Love your card Amy! I’m starting to prefer making 5x7 cards. I really like the room both outside for creativity and inside for writing. I also purchased 11x17 Accent heavy weight card stock so that I can make top folding A7 cards. Highly recommend.
Fabulous cards Amy. Love your smooshing and everything else about these cards. We are having very hot temperatures here in Ontario - looking so forward to fall and beautiful sun flowers.
I love how you keep it real. We all do the boo boos while crafting. I appreciate how you show the shift and make it work… after all, there are no mistakes… only creative opportunities!!😉
I've never watched an ink smooshing video before - I really love the final product. I especially love the inside of the card with that saying. Side note: cute nails!
Nice to see your pretty, happy face on screen, Amy, I’ve watched your videos for years, so nice to actually “see” you! Thanks for the tips on the smooshing, love these sunflowers! Thanks as always for sharing!❤
Great card, wonderful smooshing tutorial! Because of you, I am finally taking the plunge and decorating the insides of my cards now! I make card panels for the inside of the cards on my printer (Dear --, Happy Birthday (Halloween, etc), Love, --), and these panels can be faintly stamped before or after I print them out. I don’t have to worry about any stamping mistakes because they are just panels and not part of the card until I finish and glue them in the card. Thanks for all of your wonderful ideas!
LOVE LOVE LOVE hearts. Stunning cards. I've been watching quite a few of your videos and you've inspired me to finally get some of my craft boxes back into the house and unpacked. And into the designated "craft room" after the great roof and ceiling leak disaster of Easter weekend.
Thank you Amy, for taking the time to explain the different surfaces. I have been struggling to do watercolor painting after smooshing my ink pads on the glass sheet. I never knew it was the glass that was the problem! I’ll definitely have to try this card! I am really trying to use stuff that I have, because I have enough stuff to fill a store. I have been stamping since the late 1990s! Anyway, I have the early Spellbinders daisy or sunflower cutting dies and I’m going to try this. Thank you for sharing!❤
Love, love, love this card. You can send that one to me. (teasing) I'm a sunflower girl. What size fan brush do you use? Mine I use is a bit big and doesn't splatter as nicely as yours. Thank you again for sharing your talents.
I love sunflowers. Very pretty card. Love the ink smooshing.
