I really love me some splatter and bling, but for this cards, it was worth it not to put anything else on it. They are drop dead beautiful. Beautiful cards Amy.... I made a similar card in warm colours and silhouettes of trees, elephants, giraffes etc. for a friend's son who has autism (he likes animals).. He loved it so much it's now framed on his bedroom wall. Sometimes the simple can be so beautiful ...but I love all your makes as you do make gorgeous cards! x

Amy, do those blend like distress oxcides? Are they water based ink? Do you use the same brushes with distress? The blend looks beautiful and the nocturne ink looks really dark! The pads seem juicy! Tfs🤗
I have the penny black nature's friends birds glued stuck on an acryllic block. One of m flew off. To God knows where. But any landscape card sene I reach for those.
@@PrairiePaperandInk I sure understand. You have a tremendous amount on your plate. I had a highly difficult child, and 2 good kids. The older sucked me under. For me church and a couple of girl friends were my saving grace. You are in the trenches right now. It will get better. You have a great ability for joy. While I only see it in your creativity, I am sure it is there with your family as well. Amy the heat would have me really grumpy. You could try wetting your hair and putting your bare feet on an ice pack. They used to have a ‘cooling’ thing sold in sporting goods stores that you wet and draped it around your neck. It was reusable, and helped. I’m praying for you!
