As always it’s great to see a new video from you. I’m in the process of selling my 389 and seeing what I can get in return. Hope 2024 is a very successful year for you. Happy New Year to you and your team.
@@wanderingpete3196 I’m getting out. I’ve been offered a job driving an entertainment coach next year. Truck had been a great experience and I will definitely miss her. But I think it’s time to move on for now.
Thanks for the video.. You didn't mention if the driver liked the LT or not. You had mentioned that as a concern when you bought it. I assume the driver and the company are making money with it which is the main thing. Happy New Year and best wishes for your business in 2024.
It's great to see you again. Well hear you again. Hahaha. Glad to know you're doing well. I know you're a busy man. Hey did you sell the FLD? Happy New Year to you and Sally.
Glad to see you are ok ,been wondering where you been but looking @ your fleet of trucks looking 👀 like you are doing good hope you have good luck with the Intenational, the blue one a 625 LT
We’re running 7 at the moment. Got up to 9 then lost a couple of owner operators due to unforeseen events in both of their lives. One plans to come back as a company driver. We’re adding another truck on within the week and that will get us back to 8, then one more for the o/o coming back will get us to 9 again, hopefully.
thx for the video. question if you have the time im looking picking up a 19 LT625 w/X15 or a 20 T680 w/Paccar both automated and mileage about the same a bit over 400,000. Ok in your opinion which would be the better truck? I will be running OTR w/Van trailers. any and I mean any advice on truck would be appreciated.
@@Choward1234 in my experience I’ve always had better service out of new trucks. We have one automated transmission, and I’m not impressed with it. So I guess really it’s a pick your poison type of deal.
12k miles / quart of oil consumption is not unexpected for a X15 over the last several years. And because of this, it will do just fine for the 60k oil change interval per the service manual in the 6-6.9 mpg bucket. For big fleets with the Cummins Oil Guard program with some oil sample testing, the longer life oil filter and 7+ mpg, they are warrantied up to 100k miles. - Cummins Engineer.
Funny how you just made a video. I was just thinking of your vlogs today and watched an old one and now this one the same day. Super crazy, happy new year brother. Been looking to run my truck for WDT can you give me some information via email?
50,000 miles it should have already had 2 oil changes. Get that window replaced because those windows always leak I’ve had 3 of those style internationals those windows always leak. Fuel mileage sounds like you geared it wrong. Too high of rear end gear ratio, should be 3:25 not 3:08 too low in the power band. What transmission does it have 10 or 13 speed overdrive or direct. Didn’t you get your tip report before you bought it that would’ve told a reasonable idea of expected fuel economy.
Feel your pain. Set for 4 days because of a NOX censor on a KW 680. The 3.08 rears are to high speed to be efficient on heavy loads. The 3.25 or 3.36 just give better power and performance. Happy New Year.
My opinion when a good engine runs mile after mile and then it uses a gallon, it is saying it wants the oil changed. Bet it uses another gallon before y'all change it at 60,000.
Wow!!! What kinda fuel mileage yall trying to get with doing a 60,000 mile pm service job … im sorry buddy sounds like trying to squeeze blood out of a turnip….. lord
Nice Truck! Thank you for giving them a chance. Hoping the fuel economy gets better with time.

He says he likes it a lot. He started off in a 389 but he didn’t like the limited amount of room. He says this suits him much better.

We’re lease purchasing the fld out to a guy. Sally’s just her normal little self.

Is the speedometer on your truck governed?
3:08 or lower rears with Heavy loads of mountain terrain doesn't get much better fuel mileage
How many trucks are you running now?

At what mileage do you do an oil change.
60,000 on this unit. Up to 75,000 on some of them.
Disc breaks all the way around on the new LT?
No it’s got drum all the way around.
That is good. Disc brakes are big money when it comes to replacing
Passed the Fld today on 20
Have ya decided on what kind of truck you getting yourself to drive????.....589????
It's a 389. I'll try and get a video out pretty soon.
So was it Cummins or International's fault? First issue.
Cummins I’m pretty sure. They replaced the Nox sensor and no problems since then.
They get a value discount on them & resale value sucks on them
Keep us updated.
I’ll try!

Should've waited for the new S13
60k oil change? That's way too many miles between oil changes! And in addition, that's Cummins!
