Exactly!!! Why pay 30% or more for a truck to get paid the same for each load; Same engine and transmission...The international makes a lot of financial sense. It will take longer to offset the overhead cost if you buy a truck at $250k vs one at $170K.

thx for the video. question if you have the time im looking picking up a 19 LT625 w/X15 or a 20 T680 w/Paccar both automated and mileage about the same a bit over 400,000. Ok in your opinion which would be the better truck? I will be running OTR w/Van trailers. any and I mean any advice on truck would be appreciated.

The problem with those trucks is that they bounce all over the road at highway speeds making feel unsafe, you shouldn’t have to work the steering wheel so much to stay in the lane lol otherwise they would be the truck of choice honestly because they are pretty nice. I definitely prefer the lonestar all day.

International trucks have been very under rated for yrs and yrs. I know a few old time owner operators. Who absolutely swear by them.

Yeah low mileage sometimes worries me

The most important when making a choice of which tank to use is which tank gets the return fuel . I think its the left tank that you should use and just reroute the supply of fuel to the apu from the left tank . Added benefit is then you get the fuel gauge .
