The O2 gauge I got at an auto parts store. The origin of the head is unknown. Have another video with a closer look at the engine. And the distributor came out of an 80s Datsun. Thanks for watching!
Good question, I bought the car like that. Running the Holley 94 does have some advantages over the original zenith updraft carb. One advantage is that you don’t have to mess with a fuel adjusting valve on start up. Another one is that the needle and seat seal way better. Also it has a power valve and accelerator pump for better economical operation and better throttle response. I don’t think carbs care about what the stroke of the engine is. It’s all about how much CFM of air is moving through the Venturi of the carb. This carb was originally intended for the small flathead V8. But with a fuel pump it seems to respond pretty well on a model a four banger. Thanks watching!
I notice you are running a V8 waterpump, Been looking for the same setup with the fan attached... Would you mind sharing some info on where I could find one? Thank you sir...
Would love to see and learn more about your car. i.e. 12v or 6v, other engine mods?? I looking at a mild Banger conversion on my '29 coupe. Thanks for any info you might want to share 👍
Thanks!! I have other videos that look at the engine a bit closer. I bought the car pretty much as is. It seems like they got a lot of parts from here. Got a lot crap about running 12 volt in it, but to be honest I haven’t had any issues people said I was going to have. And tThanks for watching! www.secretsofspeed.com/speed-parts

Thanks for watching!
Where did you source the ratio gauge?? What kind of head are you running?? How about the distributor?? Interesting stuff!!

Why would you put a Holly carb on a Model A? Was it designed for a long stroke engine that runs at low RPM?

I would like to know how to wire the tachometer.
Ignition coil - wire?
The tach is wired in the distributor, it came out of an 80s Datsun
@@ModelAForAday thank you
What’s your other carb settings jets? Power valve? Etc ??? Thanks
I think it’s .51 jets that are in it. Power valve is just basic one, nothing special there.
Do you think the Holley sniper 1 barrel kit will work on model a.. it’s meant to replace 1100 series ford carburetor..
I was looking into that, that would be awesome if you can make it work.
Hell ya brother
Thanks!
