It was there before the rework tho, hamon, boxing and pluck also have a lvl 10 or lvl 15 cap. Don't really know why, it's not like it's good to have a spec at lvl 1. I agree with you also, it's dumb it does not tell you the level needed but some random side quest tells it.

Eclise you can use the vampire spec without the vampire race. This only lets you use the zombie revival passive, you do it by changing your vampirism spec to storage and roka your race. Then, you equip vampirism again and upgrade the skill for zombies

If your lost to getting to the vampire spec: 1.) go to the “train station” teleport. 2.) go into the sewers next to the pipes. 3.) pass Dracula and basically follow the path forward all the way until you see 2 enter Entrances through large pipes. 4.) Chose the left one. (I think you have to choose another path so left again) 5.) go get the spec once you enter the room.

Well I didn't know spec is level gated as well cuz I never knew that you could get specs in the game until I was max prestige hell I didn't even get specs on my alts because I thought specs don't do much in early game and usually you'd just go upgrade character and stand skill tree when in early game Plus have you ever tried to get specs in early game or at the very least know you can get specs when you first play it? Probably not
