i was so hoping this game turnt out good. It had SO much potential which had gone to waste. i used to enjoy the game before the change to the current map. i gave up hope after the p//s update.That was the last good update
I'd also like to add the fact that NPCs also have 0 cooldowns, some even have super armor and even ragdolls you! How fun and balanced getting thrown all over the place cuz the devs thought it was a good idea to implement such a thing as a "Difficulty increase"

I'll never forget how Kur promised that the new universe would have no bugs on release, and when it did release it was an absolute mess. To atone for such unexpected outcome he legit said "the reason for all of these bugs is because all the players joined at once" basically blaming the community for wanting to play their horrible game saying WE created all of those bugs.

Aut immediately went into the depths of the abyss as soon as they made the summer update. Seriously, the game really had potential. They could have made you able to go to different universes where there's alternate stands making a really diverse set of stands, for example. The game COULD have had a lot of ideas that made it fundamentally different from other JoJo games, but they squandered it for the sake of greed. Something also funny, is the fact they could have gotten more money if they actually didn't add all this nonsense RNG and focused on listening to the community. Truly a shame.

THEY HAD SUCH A GOOD RUN GOING BUT THEY GAVE IT ALL UP. i still refuse to think these are the same people who made the game originally, with the INTENT OF IT BEING BALANCED? in my opinion, the beginning of the end was the grinding update. i don't think anyone actually wanted the grinding update, but i was in the discord server back then, and the devs started begging in announcements for people to stop insulting their game. at this point, it's a tax writeoff.

@@Yoppio_Iopio A sad thing for me is that i started AUT when the omnitrix was still there cuz i was a ben 10 fan, my friend gave it to me because he had a spare, i never figured out how it worked or comboes or game mechanics cuz i did not play the game, 1.5 years later i boot up the game and become the huge fan, this was the time when aut had a city map, the one with a park and beach and the maze like city buildings, i loved the game then but i realized that they removed the omnitrix from my inventory later the whole game, i kept playing the game but since then the game never felt appealing

Before this update, I was a try-hard fan of aut. Their combat felt nice and rewarding plus the stand obtainment methods weren’t even that bad. You would’ve fully unlocked your desired ability once you have fulfilled the requirements of actually getting it. Although there were some bad updates here and there, those updates still kept aut playable and at least entertaining. However, this new update is so awful that I pretty much quit the moment I got into game.
They removed ALL of the previous ability quests- good or bad, and replaced them with an unfun gambling mechanic. They also had to lock a precious 90% of your stand under another stupid grinding system, so not even already obtained abilities are safe from the developer’s stupidity. The fact that you cannot even fully play with the stand, with all of its intended moves, even after grinding, is the icing on top of this already inconceivable, pointless and pathetic update.
Aut has truly lost its purpose and identity of being a sandbox fighting game, only to turn into a soulless gambling experience. I hope they revert this unplayable update or aut will eventually lose all of its players.
Atleast you changed your mind I saw multiple people who spend probably hours on this game literally trying to cope with the fact Aut is becoming a mess and those people are the true dickriding fanboys of this game

I miss getting XChara, and was excited for the first time somehow thinking it was OP around the broly update. I remember challenging myself playing that broken hitbox of a spec and _suffering._ I used that spec so much before it was removed. I even refused to delete it even if you couldn't even use it.
I miss that spec despite how horrible before, or the OP buff.

Try shadovia it’s a fun open world game that allows u to just play the way you want, kind of like dark souls if you want to fight a endgame boss go for it and you can make your own build and do quest but trying to remember where the npc for quest was is a pain

I think the reality of the high playerbase is a combo of:
- Holiday breaks just started/ongoing
- The amount of kids playing outweighs the amount of actual people
- Whales want to get items so they can scam/embezzle other players
- The options are so slim that people feel that this is the best option (its not)

Crazy thing is, is how players specs/stands gets removed from their inventory and receives 0 compensation for it. No apology, no item given. Hell, not even any currency. The devs are practically saying fuck you and the players are doing nothing about it
I genuinely had so much fun with aut, a lot of good memories. I loved the Zenith and other dubstep stand from old universe, and I was so excited for new universe. I was disappointed at how poorly it was released but I held out hope. This pattern of disappointment and hope went on for so long and it took me until the Asgore update to finally realize that nothing will improve. The animations and visuals might, but the game as a whole won't. There was so much potential at the beginning, but it's a shame to see what greed will do to a game.

AUT was so good before the overhaul. It was fun, it had good animation, a decent community, and a ton of stands
nah bruh animations were hot garbage, if they didn't rework the game it would share the fate of abdm

If you mean before New universe, nah. Classic aut was dogshit. The combat wasn't fun the animations were abd tier. If you wanted anything good you needed to install an autoclicker and leave your pc on overnight or even longer. It had a lot of stands sure but the movesets for a large majority of them were bland and underwhelming. Classic aut was shit, and current aut is shit.

I'm genuinely in shambles at this now. I was an avid aut player and quit ages ago, but it's so sad to see how hard it fell. I had hope for this game.. I miss the days when I didn't care about values nor did I care about being put to this endless grind. I miss when I could have fun. This game was so good before. But now it's.. just.. not aut anymore.
I'm sad. I really am. it's rare for me to break character like this but it really is making me sad how this one beautiful game with bright Hope, crashed in such a way that makes it depressing.

One thing that really annoyed me about this update is Move Selection. "Pick and choose moves for each ability, allowing you to finetune your gameplay!" they said. To me it honestly just feels like a restriction giving the fact that we've already had the full moveset to these abilities before this change.

100%, all stands have had their skill ceilings reduced by half, neutral is gonna be so much worse, stands with lots of utility like kc and mih are completely gutted now, and i could go on for ages about this... they just spat in all pvp players faces, and decided to cater to new players and traders. funny thing is you can still deal good damage with combos, so the move limit did nothing but make pvp a slow-paced uncreative mess
the fact that moves like ts tp are considered moves just show how dumb they are

I was honestly, no joke, SO excited to play aut once i buy a new laptop (my current one is ass and cant run it). The videos i saw on gojo and cursed child looked so good and fun to use. When i finally got the laptop and got on, i was crushed, destroyed, genuinely sad. I have been playing aut for a while now (until my old good laptop got broken and i was stuck with the shit one) , and watching them from a far completely have a stroke and implode the game was, in one word, heartbreaking.

Man second chance is an understatement. 😭 over and over and over again they've just ripped the life and soul out if this game. The game really peaked around 1.4, wish there was a separate game to go back to those days when the game was just about perfect.
I agree with most go the stuff you didn't like except the ability banner and the crate. Of course most stuff should be a quest for obvious reasons.... But for most other stuff I say I prefer the fact I could obtain that in the banner and whoever said "for do a multi you take too much time" I say just this: in 30 minute of farming i usually get around 50K Ushard (12 multi plus 2K). Yeah it's so much grindy and boring now and I totally agree. Most of the legendary should be quest or harder to get (gojo obtain method it's one if the most bullshit thing I ever seen, you need to wait him in summon, find 3 shards, then level up good ability to 150+ for the quest and it's the only single one where if the boss kill you it despawn and has the drop chance crazy low). I prefer by a mile the new crate system after you kill the mob, whoever say it was better when the method for obtain the items was stay afk hours in your vip then hope it spawned it's lying to himself. All the other stuff they added it's literally described in: let's kill our game lol.

i personally dont think that the idea of traits is horrible, but the fact that they limited all abilities to SEVEN moves is absolutely fucking insane. most of the old abilities are now unplayable or theyre super unfun

Traits in any game is a horrible idea (especially if it is rng based). There is no defending them. It just adds unnecessary parts to the grind and causes unbalance in pvp/pve.
You should see how Project Jojo was doing with traits
(Wasting time to get Tusk, just to have a Weak trait or same stuff with all tier 7,8 stands)

The old aut was the most fun game ive played i didnt care about the problems that much but i really enjoyed it. Then some updates came, the new map made me kinda mad but i got the hang of it. I remember getting cursed orbs talking to jotaro it was so much fun. After that i traded my stwr for goku and that was my dream spec. I then stopped playing the game. I tried it again but the level system, move cap, and stand getting was just horrible. I could grind for hours to unlock 3 Moves and still only have like level 50. I was just unlocking chests and i got noctornus from the shards. But it felt different cause I never thought i would obtain noctornus this easily. It just didnt feel deserved even thought i had it, it just felt like the pain people had to go trough to get it and boom you get it from a stupid chest and you got everything. I miss when you had to grind for stuff (not for 9 hours) and go trough pain and then feel the relieve you made it.
Still it was a great game but now the devs just feel like destroying it so... Theres no hope of it coming back. No hope, developers just love very love destroying their games they love it. Either it is bad system, bad combat, absurdly low chances of getting something, NO UPDATES etc., so that's that the end of aut and jojo games.

The developers held a stream while the game was in maintenance for the update, during that stream they showed the update to the players, and yes, the developers themselves had the same exact extremely high ping while in maintenance, and decided to keep going with the release without fixing anything

Aut marry Sakura stand and then cheat on Sakura stand with Stand upright to create this shit, like there’s literally no other explanation on how the fuck they made this shit.
The start of the New Universe as well as the start of the later combat rework were full of jankiness, but they were what made the game so special to me. Grab trading, no s on ragdoll, M1 into moves, etc. Yes, from a competitive standpoint, the game's combat was completely terrible. But I'd like to imagine that everyone agrees with me on this: AUT's charm came from it being a sort of ability sandbox with light-hearted combat mechanics. Even the buggy mess that was its PvP had its own flair. It's a shame to see that everything has become so soulless as of late.
Give us AUT 2.0 with 3.0's stands, but with 2.0 movesets and the 2.0 voicelines. That would be a godsend at this point.
The saddest part is that while these things are unfun, grindy, annoying, and pretty much goes against any sort of fun game design standard, people STILL buy into it. We can harp on it all we want, but unfortunately the masses still play, even if it’s a game they hate. It works. And that’s the worst part of it all.

I play because, for first, grind is ez. Absolutely easy, and you can get any skin in a matter of second. Just get any 200 lvl ability, like umbra, twoh, gojo and farm a hour for 150+ k ushards. Idk, most people just seem too terrified about "aaaah greedy gambling game"
But its not greedy. Really not.
The only problem was the optimization, but Ecplise just wanted to make aut look dirty so he took the clip of him runnung not even in his region. Seriously, play the game. Join your region. Enjoy the game. If you are not playing on potato, of course.
Banner system is quite annoying, but not really that bad. I got more than 1k total spins in a 6-7 hours.

I've been an aut player since the dawn of the game, I've been playing through updates that I don't like because, among the bad things, I'd still have my fun playing with people and even remembering what it was before it all, as even if it wasn't the best game and just some thrown together stuff, I'd still have lots of fun with it in a manner that not even well put together games from better companies could do.
After this update, I've felt like the game I've been playing died right then and there, I can't recognize it anymore as it isn't the game I've had fun with.
I don't know what this disaster was or what this all means for the devs, but I just wish it would either go back to being good or just stop trying

I thought there was hope for the game as you can still gradually unlock moves
Then I saw the 7/7 move lock (reaper has a lot more) and gave up. If they make Goku the same as gojo (removing it when reworking) I'm quitting this game. It will be something else entirely
As a part of the 15k eclipse, I will be honest with you. I agree with everything you said. I feel that if the 7 move cap never existed, they provided a FUN quest for the new abilities, and never added traits this update would have been good.

Not sure if you've ever been asked this, but have you considered getting some people together and making your own JJBA game? I can't imagine it'd be super difficult (atleast in the beginning), but it depends on how big you'd want the game.

The MOST OBVIOUS AND LOGICAL solution that makes games grow and develop is super simple...listen to your community and recieve CONSTANT FEEDBACK WITH IT.
Look at Fornite and Minecraft for example, that's an obvious comparison of triple A games, there is not much difference with those of small developers.
This update is truly disgraceful to us players, and while AUT was never perfect, there was a time where the game was fun. A time where you could just mess around in-game and have a decent time. AUT's doom was spelled when the updates had become increasingly bad and it was clear that the developers didn't care anymore, and this is where we are now. RIP.
Even the old universe was a FUN game despite being heavily flawed. But this…is just sad, it’s unplayable both ping wise and gameplay wise. Its sad what it has become, the only way they can fix it is if they revert every update over the past year

It's so sad to see that many fun games end up getting consumed by their inner greed, for more money, for more power, as an old player myself from AUT ever since it's first years I had lots of fun in the game, but now looking at it, it's now a shadow of it's former self consumed by greed and money, I really hope that this game has a twist turn of event's wich I highly doubt.

I joined AUT when new universe came out. Had a great time and all with all of my friends just grinding for specs and fighting with them. When the summer update was released I was so happy because I was finally able to get umbra and demolish my friends. After I got all the skins from the summer update I kind of quit for a while because it had been rumoured for a while that my main spec Goku was gonna get a rework. No more news ever came out on that so when AUT announced a 3.0 update I was so exited. Needless to say I logged, looked around, and left. No news on my favorite spec that I waited a long time for (which looked to be done from the move set leaks), and instead of arriving to a reworked Gojo and Yuta from JJK (which I was exited for because those are my two favorite characters) I got met with Gojo being removed from my inventory, and Gambling.
I’ve had a long history with AUT, and I feel so sad that a game where me and my friends spent hours 1v1ing just turned into a cash grab that doesn’t even offer to put out interesting ideas that dont include money. Cause of all that I dont think I’ll ever play this game again. It hurts to say but yeah, I think this is it for AUT.

I prefer the old aut so much, the little random jojo game in the middle of other 2000 random jojo games, i really liked that it was the kind of game that was fun and people enjoyed somehow more than the other 27159823175027 other random jojo games, and i was one of them. I played aut since the early old universe days. I’ve pretty much seen it all. After seeing the trailer i was so excited for this update. Then i load into the game. My ping is at an all time high. My camera is bouncing all over the place, and there are arrows blinding me. It just kept getting worse. I saw my moves were gone, I saw the trait system and the gacha and that’s when i lost all hope. Its like they tried to make an update as awful as possible. Like how do you get one of your most dedicated players to pretty much quit the game entirely 15 minutes after joining the new update?

same here, i used to have a lot of fun when the game released mere weeks after its release day. Then the maps kept swapping around like its hot potato. Then abilities that cost an arm and a leg were released soon after. Trading became an insufferable mess rather than a cool side hobby that you could do in-game.
And now, after seeing this most recent update to the game (mostly via this video) after not playing for almost a year really breaks my heart to see that the potential it had was thrown from the garbage bin straight into the incinerator.

This is honestly so Sad. I wasn't there for the New Universe update, but i played back when the map was that rectangle with the devil's palm at the end, i loved the game, its pvp, its stands and its concept, its so nostalgic to even remember those times... Im heartbroken... I miss those times..
Yeah I stopped playing the game a long time ago. One of the updates just reset all my stands and storage and I just gave up.
And to add on to the fact that AUT has become a casino, they managed to screw up the ping after 9 hours of maintenance
AUT had two states, first: wait 14 hours for an item to spawn. Second: Kill an comically large amount of npcs and grind for hours to spin on a gacha system and if lucky, get ONE mid stand. great game

I'm a long-time AUT fan and came back to the game recently to see what it's like. Despite all of its issues, the game was still fun. Obtaining abilities was rewarding and felt significant, fighting npcs and bosses was fun, and the game actually ran. Today, after logging on, I don't think I can call this the same game. It's horrible. I was excited for Yuta and Gojo but the whole ability shard thing and how easy it is to get items is ridiculous. They absolutely gutted the game of its depth and just made it a shallow, one-dimensional, generic gacha sim. I may as well just go to a casino at this point.
its crazy because yuta is extremely op and gojo is impossible to get because the blindfold is like a 1% drop rate ( I heard 10% but after almost 50 fights that's hard cap)

I definitely agree with you here, they decided that "Oh? YBA you're ruining yourself and becoming bad? I gotchu bro" and decided to become worse. Honestly whoever came up with this wasted their time and resources as well as ours which we took to get our abilites and items, many of which are wiped. At this point I'd rather favour stand upright rebooted or even abd over whatever in the name of hell this has become. If they dont revert their update they're going to regret it one day anyway for sure.

It's disappointing to see what's become of the game.
When NU released, it felt like something unique, like it had a soul. I've said this many times before, it's sad that it's just transformed into a soulless, shameless cashgrab. The developers just do everything for money. The sole reason why Gojo and Yuta were added is probably due to the hype, they knew it'd make money.
It's a shame to see how little Kur cares for his game nowadays. At this point, we're all just praying for its well deserved downfall.

One of my close friends has always been a fan of AUT, and I just feel bad for her. It sucks that I’ve always mildly enjoyed the game as well. I think the devs just realized the game was going down and they decided to cash out last minute (while disguising it as a genuine update).
It sucks knowing how much time I've spent playing this game just for it to turn out like this. I just gave away my mythics and everything I had to new players and it took a huge weight off my shoulders, and now I never have to come back to AUT again.
You should try phighting just to get some fresh air its chaotic trait just makes my adrenaline go up and I like it. Its a good game I like it a lot. Theres also this game called Brickbattler I haven't finished it yet but so far its really fun the gameplay is amazingly entertaining,the story is not my type but it gives that nostalgia about old roblox. Your content is really entertaining and I like the way you dont sugar coat so thats why I want you to check those games.
Pretty gutted about this update. This was something I was genuinely looking forward to (even tho i think jjk is overrated in anime games) because I was hoping it would come with several balance patches and bug fixes. The sneak peeks looked awesome.. But alas that was not the case. It's like Eclipse said, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Honestly, at this point I'm not even mad. All I feel is cold disappointment.

There are times where I feel like people exaggerate abt how bad "X" thing may be. But... Wow. I was honestly pretty hyped for Yuta and Gojo cause they seemed... Well, pretty fun to play and very well polished. But... That literally just got ran over and smashed by the other shitty decisions of the aut devs. I can't describe how dissapointed I am.
Same, I was so excited to grind my ass off for a cool spec in the AUT I knew and loved, the one that managed to make my IQ drop enough to even consider playing it longer than 30 minutes… But I was met with what felt like an alien world along with a 2 second all the way to never delay. Safe to say I won’t be touching the game for what looks like ever.

After the combat rework I genuinely started loving AuT. It became my alternative for a Jojo game, since I lost every single bit of hope in YBA. Maybe there wasn't a LOT to do. Maybe some stands were too powerful for their own being. But I felt the game had a lot of life to it's movesets and models. It was fun as hell. Coming in and playing some 1v1s from time to time was a fun way to spend my time. And, even though its the least for me, skin grinding was way too easy. Like, I ended up having like 3 mythics and a few event skins with little to no effort. But now I don't even want to play anymore. I stayed when they added levels and ascensions. They were just for Main Game and PvE, so what do I care? But now... Traits? Moves having to be unlocked? It's just not worth it anymore. And it's sad, cause' now I feel that I have nowhere to go when it comes to Roblox Jojo games.
Maybe I'll just go back to TB2, hell if I know. Still love that game
