Do something Live with soldiers ! My son just got out after 8yrs and 4 deployments Staff Sgt. Spec ops. He is subscribing because he knows you guys truly care 😁 let subscribers get to see what their donations do , would love to see you meet some of these incredible young men and women!!
I come from a military family and appreciate your background. Now both of us 65 year old, wife still working remote. Will be trying out camping while working. Great job on your videos. Learned a lot from them. I am disable and recovering from two lower back surgeries but look forward to camping this year and your videos. Thanks. David Perks
Thank you for taking us along. Please do a video showing us memorable pieces of your journey. We celebrated navy day at school. Thank you for your service. You are a great RVing team and couple. Thanks!!
You should get an extend-a-stay for propane. You could add running off 5 or 7 gallon tanks. We did it for years. Especially when parked for a week or two or more.
How funny. We just stayed at the hemp farm about two weeks ago. The owner was a super nice guy from the midwest. He had such enthusiasm for his work and showed us around the whole farm. Love HH stays like them. Hopefully you went to the Colorado national Monument while you were there. Definitely worth the visit with awesome views and great hikes. Apparently since the farm became a HH, they've been super popular. We parked right where you guys did but he said they have had up to 7 rvers stay there one night. I didn't see how but they're so nice they probably couldn't say no. Safe travels!
I’m new to your channel. So I have got to tell you, I love what your doing, between your military causes and the way you keep us all informed about the RV life. I was a homeless Vietnam Vet until last July. Now I am a struggling retired DJ living on my SS. Keep up the good fight and I will too.
Bob and I just love your channel. Always informative yet fun. We love how you all tease each other. Your shoots are very good and it's like a good tv show. Keep up the good works. Thanks.
Phil, I love watching you and Staci and we don't miss a video if we can help it. Now, on the 3 in one oil in this video, no no no! That is the worst stuff to use on chains and I say this because it collects all kinds of dirt gets impregnated into the chain and shortens the chains life immensely. I highly recommend trying Tri-flow. It comes in spray or a liquid type to pour on as well. It has Teflon in it and it won't attract dirt. It goes on wet and then dries leaving a clean smooth coating on your chain so dirt just falls off. It is not the what you want to use on locks though as it will cause locks not to work in real cold weather below freezing. but for everything else, I promise, you won't be sorry. I have used it for over 15 years and wouldn't change it for anything. My wife Becky and I are almost full time and plan to be full time RV'ers my next November. Hopefully we will cross paths someday. I want to learn more about your Solar set up because we plan on going solar someday ourselves. Thanks for all the great advise on your videos and travel safe. Scott and Becky Waldron, Mason, Michigan
For your 100k bench mark, I suggest you have your fans send in a picture of themselves or their rig, then take all of those pictures and make them into the pixel picture of your logo. That would include everyone in the "You, Me and the RV" and celebrate us all being together in this time.
Phil, please don’t tell people to put oil on your bike chain, You want a silicone based spray or drops. Preferably with PTFE ingredient. The reason why, is that oil will allow dirt and sand to stick to it and it will grind your chain and gearing, Silicone based coats the chain and you get less dirt and sand sticking to it. WD40 is a no no too for a bike chain. Otherwise love your channel and we just got a Class B. Hope to see you on the road... Bruce K.
Howdy, Phil & Stacy!! Another *excellent* video. Thanks for this. Nevertheless, I just wanted to call your attention to Harvest Hosts and their golf course plan... At least, as I understood it when they rolled it out a couple years ago. 1) The Golf Course package involves an extra fee for an HH membership. You can still get the standard membership with farms breweries, museums, etc., but adding golf courses is +$. 2) Some courses *require* you to play a round of golf as part of your stay [that means greens fees and some require a cart rental]. I don't know if they'd allow an extra night's stay to recover from a day of golf, but that's something to keep in mind. For those of us who *don't* golf, it just isn't worth it, no matter how pastoral the setting. ;) FYI.
Thank you, John. Was not aware of the requirement to play a round of golf. As we understood the policy, it was suggested to purchase something for around $20 as a show of appreciation for allowing RV'ers to stay on property. When we stay at a golf course, we usually go in and grab a bite to eat from the clubhouse (way more than $20). I am not a golfer, but we love the peaceful atmosphere that surrounds the courses.
We LOVE Harvest Hosts❣️❣️These are great overnight stops when on the road. All of the ones we stayed with encouraged us to stay extra days❤️❤️So accommodating.
Too bad you didn't get an opportunity to go through the Colorado National Monument. Absolutely gorgeous views of the whole area!! Make a point of it next time you come through our neck of the woods.
We stayed at Palisade Basecamp RV Resort for several weeks last year. You are right, the views of the mesas from the campground are impressive and the Grand Junction /Palisade area is great. Lots to do and see. We loved staying there and hope to return.
Re: the CBC (Hemp Farm--very cool!). The amount of THC in CBD Oil sold in the marketplace, for clarity and legality, is .3% not 3%, an important distinction :) Thanks for all you do for RV community and our troops! My son is career active military (24 years) and we are very proud of him! Husband, father and uncle all veterans, two of whom were 20 year military. Yeah, troops, we love you!
I caught that the moment she said it. For the visual learners, the difference is this, from $10 a .3% cut is $.30 (thirty cents). A 3% cut from $10 would be $3.00, a very big difference!!
I would like to see you celebrate your 100K subscribers with the Home For Our Troops organization. I think it would be fun to see a family that is about to get their new home, have Stacy find ways to add special touches to the house from her experience in the RV (drawer organizers, peg board) and Phil find ways to add special touches to the house from his experience outside the RV (adding security system like Ring).
Thank you for your videos and your dedication to our veterans. My hubby is a 20 year Army vet, we have an older class C, Ellie Mae, who is our learner coach. Thanks for all your tips and information.
Being that you are retired Military. Travel [guide] from various base to base across the states. Long ago... you could purchase a book through the exchange. That described every military installation. That said what was offered in the way of Morale Welfare and Recreation... camping , EVERYTHING. Now I realize that you are also going to travel elsewhere than "just " the bases. However, it is a great benefit for anyone retired from the military and traveling, to utilize access to the base and the offerings of the base. Some are separate from the base and geared to the recreational community. I haven't seen the book in a while but it might be available online, or through the Times or MCA book store... ?
Thank you for the information. We ordered a Class B RV that won't arrive until mid-summer. We are watching lots of your, and other, videos and learning a great deal from other people's mistakes.
For a minute there, I thought you were at a marijuana farm 😊 the plants look similar. Are you going to share what you learned about “Hemp” somewhere? Beautiful scenery for sure! Great video as usual!
Oh Phil must be taking classes!! RVillage is hosting a Tech on Monday also!!! Along with a Glass company with what I hope will be helpful Info on our windows getting that fog!!
Like your flat top. I have had a flat top since I got out of the Corps 40 years ago. Problem, very few " stylist" knows how to do a flat top. When I go by a military installation I look for a barber shop near it.
It was way harder off base to get it cut that is for sure. I have had a few stylists that I coached and they did a pretty good job. I do prefer the base though.
Just an FYI, Tractor Supply will price match. So when we are ready to refill our tanks, I call around to the bigger propane companies in the area and find out what they charge, then simply tell Tractor Supply that price and they match it no questions asked. I've saved almost a dollar per gallon at some TSC's.
Getting closer to 100k but it’s due to your great vlogs, when you put out quality you will always have followers. Many thanks. 🇨🇦 P. S. Need a little more on gizmo. I guess he’s camera shy.
I am a retired COE employee and the campgrounds are wonderful. Thank you for your service and please thank ALL of your family for me. Many times no one knows what the family goes through. I am a Gold Star brother so I know what the family deals with. Again thank you for your service. I am starting to plan a couple of trips a year so I will be raving soon.
If you get anywhere near Divide county, check out the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Sanctuary. You can actually pay a lil extra and you get to go into the enclosures with the wolves. An experience of a lifetime
Idea Set up a virtual zoom wine party for your 100 K celebration. Invite everyone to grab a glass of wine and do a recap of the last year. I know I would enjoy that, and I don't even drink wine or beer lol. Cant wait to see what the big red barn is all about.
Oh my goodness thought as a retired navy man you would have known hemp was originally harvested and made into ropes for the navy but on a side note the railroads years ago planted hemp to control the weeds along the railway right of ways
We have traveled on I-70 between Grand Junction and Palisade for the past several years on our way to and from our home in NC to our summer work at Ridgway CO State Park. We have always been awed by the mountains on the north and the lush green fields on the south. Like two different worlds separated by 200 feet of asphalt. Safe travels.
We’ll be at Stillhouse Hollow Lake COE near Belton for a few days soon...not too far from Temple and Ft Hood...my sons 43ft fifth wheel is perfect for all 9 of us...You guys made a really good job there in CO...Thanks for all you do for us vets... GO NAVY !!!!!
So thankful to have found your channel! Very useful info. My hubby and I are retiring end if the year, and we have an R.V. on order to pick up in Spring. We are 1st timers, so, lots of questions!😁 We had the privilege to help with a local Homes for Our Troops a few years ago. What a wonderful organization. So exciting to see the progress of your fund raiser for them.
I'm with Phil concerning pizza. Unfortunately my wife has different veiw when it comes to pizza, but we get to have it for dinner every other week. Love your videos!
Good Morning. Yeah. Melbourne won the war on covid! After the strictest lockdown in the world we are almost out - one more step on 8 Nov- we can leave the city!!!! Looking forward to hitting the road into regional areas (within our state). I manage a storage facility for over 100 RVs indoors - it’s going to be a crazy few weeks while everyone gets out there.
@@annek1226 it’s definitely been hard but so thankful for our Government (both Federal and State) for working together and putting our health first. Now for a well orchestrated recovery - huge infrastructure projects given the green light ( jobs, jobs. Jobs,) shopping local at small businesses and eating out. Not complaining. Lol - we now call our state premier - Uncle Dan.
Work commitments used to have me visit Grand Junction regularly. Love the area. Real nice vibe and people; and no shortage of breweries. Glad you got to enjoy it.
Colorado National Monument is beautiful, although very hot over the summer. You timed it right going in the fall. Really enjoy your videos. Keep it going.
Do a live stream when you are close to that number, or just after 100,000. You can answer questions and we can all chat and be apart of the fun. Love the videos, guys!
I have to admit, I wasn’t going to watch this video because the thumb nail didn’t seem to pertain to me. Our coach is all electric. But I gave in to get my YM&RV fix. Turns out the video was jam packed with good info beyond propane. Thanks!
Retired Royal Canadian Navy myself, the hemp/cannabis industry was always taboo. I see first hand how it is helpful to our Veterans. We are very much enjoying your videos, keep safe! Mike and Lori
I have a view of Mt Garfield out my bedroom window in my house. I get to look at it every day when my curtains are open. Grand Junction is a beautiful valley
Also try the Palisade peaches if there are any left they are the best peaches in the world. Something to do with the colder nights in Colorado in the early part of the season or something. I guess it brings out the natural sugars in the peaches and makes the fruit grow large and juicy. They are so good!
Craig CO ++ an outstanding place. Stayed at KOA because not a member o fZharvest Host. Suggest the wineries in Kingman AZ - compact location of 3 wineries which produce an excellent wine from their grapes.
Looks like you just missed our snow. We do love us some Murdochs around here. The Grand Junction area is amazing and Palisade is one of my favorite places.
In order to celebrate 100K subs, how about a video highlighting your top ten destinations since you started your channel, some footage of each and reasons why they are in your top ten list.
Really I watched before but! So, worth watching again 👍 and I like your videos! Please make more! You two were spot on going back and forth with answers! So, great job Phil! Thanks Stacy😊👍👍
Oh Phil, please don’t 3 in 1 on your bike chain. It is better to use a dry lube that doesn’t collect the dirt and grime. There are several good bike chain lubes. Finish line makes great bike lubes. Love your videos.
Wow! We stayed at Basecamp RV this summer - it was a great place to stay with laundry and very clean showers. We hiked up the mountain behind it too - cool view! You forgot to mention all the great pie places in Palisades!
Wow I get to tell you something where you use the oil to lubricate you should use Napa Chain and Cable lube it’s great for door hinges power steps bike chains doesn’t smell or stain and does gel but does not dry and comes with extension hose if you need it. Love your videos very helpful Thanks
So fun this morning watching your channel and seeing our favorite spots. Surprised my husband because I guessed you where in Grand Junction before you guys said it.
Another great video guys...and Phil, I'm still only keto-ish as well and this time of year only gets harder with all the amazing food and treats. Safe travels friends!
Guys 2.79 is expensive especially in Colorado. Standard price $1.49. If you shop at Costco they have the very best price unfortunately not all Costco have propane.
For your 100k celebration you could have a map of the US and Canada and post the number of subscribers in each state or province as well as a decent number of photos of your subscribers in those areas..
We were there in June and it was hotter than Hades, over 100 deg. We were coming off 5 days of Boondocking and needed a FHU. And we needed to do chores. But we were in a hurry to head north for cool weather. We spent a week there a couple of years ago and explored the area. Did you mention Colorado National Monument? Not the greatest national park, I'd say it's 3rd rank, but still worth a couple of days. It has good scenery but few trails and such.
My heart leaped with joy at watching your video of Mt Garfield and area. I have lived there and I loved it. Its a mecca for outdoor adventures and Fruita, as well as Palisade are wonderful as well as Grand Junction. Palisade was known more for its peaches than wine, but it still does have a peach festival in the summer.
I love that area, the views are spectacular, we were there a few yrs ago during the summer. The mosquitoes were brutal! Enjoy your travels and stay safe during this pandemic.
What a treat to see this video... we adore that area! I especially LOVE the Talbot's Mt. Gold Peaches that are known from the Palisade's area - SO GOOD! Sadly due to a spring freeze the crops were greatly affected, did your host mention any issues with their Hemp crop?
What about a zoom party? You could select a number of guests to join and have an outdoor projector going and you could do a live show the rest of your fans could celebrate too from the safety of our own homes or rvs? You could maybe take us all along to an amazing sunset?
Have lived in the area but much prefer Montrose. The view of Grand Mesa driving in the Delta/Grand Junction area is awe-inspiring. Lots of fun little towns in the area, too. Lots of orchards in the Cedaredge and Hotchkiss area, with a great cider press done in the autumn. There's a fabulous rv park in Olathe called Uncompaghre River RV Park - all pull throughs in the front part and some back ins right by the river. Plenty of trees for shade, too. Hope you were able to sit a spell in the area as it's a great place!
Wow - that opening sequence is gorgeous ‼️. Great drone footage and sharp editing - teamwork 🤩. Thanks for the shout out - we did love that campground: great views and convenient to lots of attractions in the area 👍. Love you guys !💖!
My last coach had propane. Current one is all electric and heats with either heat pumps or diesel aqua hot furnace when boondocking. Not sure I could ever go back.
Omg! I live just east of Grand Junction in a small town called Parachute! I literally go to Grand Junction for EVERYTHING, bc our town is so small. Can’t believe you guys were so close!!!!!
@@richelleembree4024 I use to own a restaurant until we sold it last September (thank goodness!). Did you ever eat at Mama’s? If so, that was me and my business partners place. 😁
OMG you were right in our backyard! My husband and I both grew up in Palisade and worked on our family peach farms and vineyards! We are very proud of the winery’s there. I’m so glad you were able to see our beautiful valley and what it has to offer. Hope to see you on the road someday🎃!
I completely agree with Phil, Pizza should be it’s own food group! I have been saying that for years.

Can't wait for your Big Red Barn video. Heading there myself in a month.
I will be at the Big Red Barn at the end of this month as well!
You need to invest a couple of small ceramic electric heaters when you are on shore power. Saves propane.

Retired Royal Canadian Navy myself, the hemp/cannabis industry was always taboo. I see first hand how it is helpful to our Veterans. We are very much enjoying your videos, keep safe!
Mike and Lori
Thanks for your service Mike. It was taboo for us as well in the Navy.
@@todayissomeday thank you both for your service.
That is awesome!
Craig CO ++ an outstanding place. Stayed at KOA because not a member o fZharvest Host. Suggest the wineries in Kingman AZ - compact location of 3 wineries which produce an excellent wine from their grapes.
100k you should do your 100 favorite moments or 100 tips. Love your channel. We will be RVing soon enough
Great idea!!
Agree with Pizza is it's own food group!! Really enjoy our You, me and the Rv hoodies!
Thanks! I love my hoodie!!!
5:30
Pizza is ALL 4 FOOD GROUPS
meat, dairy, grain, and vegetable/fruit (tomato is a fruit btw)
Looks like you just missed our snow. We do love us some Murdochs around here. The Grand Junction area is amazing and Palisade is one of my favorite places.
In order to celebrate 100K subs, how about a video highlighting your top ten destinations since you started your channel, some footage of each and reasons why they are in your top ten list.
I'd like to see your very first video!
Thanks for the idea!
That you can see on our channel.....it is our intro video. We had no idea what we were doing then! LOL
Thanks for the tip
I was cringing watching him use it on the chain!😁.
Love you guys. You make me happy when you have so much fun. Stay safe.
Near Grand Junction is one of the most incredible drives you will ever take. Colorado National Monument.
Pizza covers all the food groups. I love it
We stayed at a State Park on Lake Champlain in Vermont that was near a Hemp farm. Very strong smell :) but quite interesting.
I wonder why.
Wow! We stayed at Basecamp RV this summer - it was a great place to stay with laundry and very clean showers. We hiked up the mountain behind it too - cool view! You forgot to mention all the great pie places in Palisades!
That is awesome!
Nice Pizza! I love pizza and agree with Phil! Great video thanks for sharing your videos! Safe travels! Stay safe and healthy!
Wow I get to tell you something where you use the oil to lubricate you should use Napa Chain and Cable lube it’s great for door hinges power steps bike chains doesn’t smell or stain and does gel but does not dry and comes with extension hose if you need it. Love your videos very helpful Thanks
Thanks for the tip.
I’d love to see more and more HH locations. All a little different. One nighters.
Colorado is one of our favorite places to travel. Up and down the state from Grand Junction to Pagosa Springs, it is beautiful.
Nailed it Jen! I have no willpower to begin with and then the HOLIDAYS! LOL.
Its good to know Harvest host locations have other things available for those who don't drink at all.
Amen!!!!
Welcome to Colorado! My son goes to university in Grand Junction. Great town. Safe travels.
Thank you! You too!
Great video! I love your upbeat channel.
Thank you, David!
Love your guys videos. Been watching for about a year. That area of the country is beautiful. Its on our bucket list.
Great idea!!!
Great idea. Just don't know how we would capture who was from where.
Maybe take a poll...or have subscribers let you know what state/province they are from and post your best pics from that place?...
We just joined HH great. Winery was our 1st. Great hosts. Bsafe in you’re traveling.
We are thinking about going full time RV . Thank you for sharing good information. We appreciate you 😇
Our pleasure!
That is awesome!
I love that area, the views are spectacular, we were there a few yrs ago during the summer. The mosquitoes were brutal! Enjoy your travels and stay safe during this pandemic.
Keto-adjacent
Suggest dry lube instead of oil or grease that holds grit and dirt
Love all your videos and everything you do for our fellow veterans.
Thank! Hand Salute!
What a treat to see this video... we adore that area! I especially LOVE the Talbot's Mt. Gold Peaches that are known from the Palisade's area - SO GOOD! Sadly due to a spring freeze the crops were greatly affected, did your host mention any issues with their Hemp crop?
Glad you enjoyed it! The hemp crops seemed to be doing ok. They were going to harvest the field we were next to right after we left.
Our pleasure! You know we love you guys!!
Luv y’alls channel. Good laugh is always needed. Take care of yourselfs
My last coach had propane. Current one is all electric and heats with either heat pumps or diesel aqua hot furnace when boondocking. Not sure I could ever go back.
Thank you Phil and Stacy for all you do to serve our vets.
OMG first time viewer and This Dominos stop is EPIC....I laughed out loud for sure!
Welcome aboard!
Omg! I live just east of Grand Junction in a small town called Parachute! I literally go to Grand Junction for EVERYTHING, bc our town is so small. Can’t believe you guys were so close!!!!!
I stayed with a friend in parachute a couple years ago... Lots of dispensaries!!! Nice place...
So cool! With COVID. everywhere, we are not doing meet ups......it sucks! SO many opportunities to meet folks and we have to be careful.
Great video as usual.. beautiful locations.. and wonderful info.. stay safe
I second the pizza food group thing!!
The peaches from that area are AMAZING!!!
Love your channel. From Grand junction loved seeing it on here.
Hey, Craig, CO. Sarah used to teach at Moffat County HS. She spent every penny she earned skiing at Steamboat.
Those are some pretty Christmas trees in the beginning of the video. Great editing, by the way!
Thank you very much!
I know where you are. We usually are there right now but decided to stay closer to Tyler. Hope Phil enjoys his class
We love your videos. We have harvest hosts too. Haven’t used it yet. Safe travels. Can’t wait to see the next adventure
Awesome! Thank you!
