- In this video, I discuss the choices in game design that have lead Celeste to become the modern classic it is today. I talk specifically about choices in storytelling and how it is designed from a gameplay perspective, the tight, powerful but not too powerful controls and the way the game teaches you its mechanics, all from a game development perspective.
Celeste is a platforming video game about climbing a mountain. It is an indie game, similar to games like hollow knight, hollow knight silksong as well as undertale and hades. I am also a hobby Game Developer and so talk about game design like GDC and Unity 3D and unreal engine 5. this is an indie game development game design analysis with discussion on game design in celeste. a hard platformer. Another great analysis. You successfully managed to capture the essence of what makes Celeste so great. While others may have done it better, your video is still worth watching. The dislike to like ratio is rather surprising, as the music was not THAT loud in my opinion. You still did great man, keep it up! :D

Really like the game, good narration but I think that the soundtrack/effects on your video are a little bit loud compared to your voice, keep the good work (came here from your post on Reddit :3)
Hey, I liked what you talked about, here are tips I can give you from casual viewer perspective: You really should balance audio, your voice should be #1 priority in such videos, so try lowering background music volume next time, I also feel like you speak too fast at the times, in my opinion this kind of video format should be rather chill, so try slowing down a bit. I'm leaving like, please do not feel discouraged, since I enjoyed your video and just want to help you out a bit.

yeah aha, I got carried away with the music I think... I think I am doing better in newer videos (hopefully)
