If Darth Maul can survive being cut in half and was able draw up on the dark side and the force to stay alive until he was prepared then Anakin could have did the same thing by being taken off of life support momentarily to get into a much better suit etc.. It seems strange that a suit control system using the tongue was used when it should be easy to have the suit controlled using verbal commands. Some modern fighters, the French Rafael, has that feature.

Despite the armor's tech was obsolete, it was a Sith alchemy project and the only thing which could keep in alive out of a bacta tank. The extremely painfull adaptation to the suit and its limitations only kept him more connected to the dark side, forcing him to focus and use the force constantly, which made him a lot more strong with the force. In a way, the pain and limitations of the suit only made his anger, rage and focus turn him into a better Sith. Plus he was one of the best swordsman in the galaxy, so adapting his combat style with the lightsaber to a low paced combat resorting to manipulating the environment around him with the force was quite easy and instictive for him. Even though the suit brough so many fisical limitations, it made him become a lot more strong with the force in the early days of the Empire embracing his emotions and connecting with the dark side.

Sounds good but there maybe a problem regarding the "indestructiblty" of Vader's right glove... Wasn't the the hand that Luke severed in ROTJ Vader's right hand? I guess his right glove wasn't as impervious as Vader thought. EDIT - I just watched a clip of the final fight between Vader & Luke and confirmed that yes, it was Vader's right hand that he chopped off.

The bad suit from 2 is closer to Vader look, and some suit you get from one of the dlc. I always loved the bad suit from 1 but the helmet always felt weird
The amulet is the part that surprises me the most. While it might have been an invention from later, it does actually make sense that palpatine would add at least a few other-worldly enhancements to vaders armor. As for why much of the suit was never upgraded, palpatine needed to keep invader well and truly under control. That's why it never featured many self repair Elements, and also why his tie starfighter had such a low hyperspace speed.
Isn’t there also needles/wires on the back neck piece that insert directly to the spinal cord that way his limbs move like normal limbs and his eyes can see exactly what the eye lenses see??

Everytime you initially wake up you are painfully reminded that you have no legs, no penis, and your bladder is a catheter bag... that leaks, because Uncle Palpy is a cheap dick...
Anakin became Vader when the twins were born way before Star Wars IV came out in '77. So, Luke and Leia are in there early 20"s ???. Not bad for 70 year old technology..🙂
I mean... it COULD also be that Lucas thought this costume looked cool, and retconed things.... I mean tool belts were standard on comic book characters back then.... he made Vader look scarey, sound scarey, and be very mysterious, then had to figure out the why and how after. While I am aware that the "Force Lightning" vulnerability is considered "law of the land" ... I really, really feel to see why? Wouldn't it have been easy enough for him to cancel that out? In the prequels we see numerous times how Jedi - for example Obi Wan - counter Force Lightning relatively effortless by using their lightsaber. And at least one (Mace Windu) did Anakin/Vader observe that himself close up. Now, here's the catch: By the time Obi Wan faced Dooku, he cannot possibly be ever before have been confronted with Force Lightning because the Sith were basically thought to had been extinct. Still, he can counter it (and using a lightsaber as a tool makes perfect sense). Anakin/ Vader was the Chosen One, able to quickly learn Force powers by just observing. And he observed Mace withstanding Palpatine. Hence, it doesn't any make sense to assume that Vader couldn't in a duell just use this to protect himself long enough to make his much stronger physicality count for.
I always wondered why palpatine didn’t just take anakin’s genetic template and clone him. Then he could use essence transfer to transfer Anakin’s mind to a new healthy clone body instead of confine him to that suit.

Beskar weave is lightsaber resistant. Not lightsaber proof. There's a difference. Just means it's harder to cut through, meaning a glancing blow wouldn't do the trick. But Luke was strong and also probably chopped down with force enhanced strength and cleaved straight through.

largely headcanon, but I kinda feel like Jedi and Sith project an aura of sorts through the force (which is what's being sensed by eachother) that essentially means more minute manipulations like that just won't work. it also explains why it takes considerable effort to force push, or pull a jedi or sith around even if they don't know it's coming.

I never got the scared to upgrade part. The force has been shown to sustain life of of pure hatred so you would just have to up grade him with no pain killers after someone mad him mad .
Not necessarily scared, but the suit was built with ancient sith alchemy, you didn't had many of those around the galaxy. The suit made him more connected to the dark side more than an upgraded suit could. Therefore keeping the fisical limitations in a way was what made him a better Sith.
Uhhhh pretty sure taking off his mask is what contributed to killing. Yes the lightning did severe damage but tasking the helmet off accelerated his death because he wanted to look at Luke with his own eyes
I never liked the idea that Vaders suit was old or of poor construction, it never really sat with the character that always was tinkering or changing things. I do like that the disney films show that he can take it off, in a way taking away the poor construction idea. Money didnt mean anything to the Empire, the Deathstars prove that so whats it to them making Vaders suit the best it can be. Vader is the best villain ever. Now ill wait for the “real fans” to have ago at this, as thats what is needed for people who enjoy the same thing.

About the amulet on his right hand, I think it is wrong. There is a scene in Roge One where he can reflect a blast with his left hand, using the force.
I knew the glove was indestructible. The imperial who took it was actually trying to pass himself off as the Emperor’s son, when he couldn’t even use the Force, and used trickery to reproduce the with lightning.
I'm autistic and literally lack the portions of my brain necessary to filter out auditory input and discriminate between most sounds depending on the number of sources. It's a living hell to try and focus through all of that.
I will never see vader the same knowing to command his suit he sometimes has to stick his tongue out, imagine the hallway scene in rouge 1 but he has his tongue out the whole slaughter

I think it was elaborated in a book once that clones and cloned body parts degrade faster so Vader deemed the idea a waste of time and resources as he would be required to constantly get new replacements put in when the old ones started going bad.

We know that Anakin had to be removed from the suit in order for his dead skin to be debrided from his ruined body on a regular basis. We also have seen Anakin in a bacta tank, minus his suit. I suggest that removal from the suit was not a possible life ending event as you suggest in this video.
Question regarding the helmet. Now in ROTS, it's a three piece(face, helmet ,neck). Obi wan it's a two piece(neck, Helmet/face.). Then Empire it's back the Obi Wan. While ROTJ it's back to the ROTS one. Was that a newer helmet altogether?

I actually have a theory why palpatine went to the trouble of adding the amulet to that gloved hand. Remember that so little of Anakin remained, It was imperative to keep as much of the former sith as possible so his force powers could remain intact. Losing his apprentice's still-human hand was the last thing palpatine wanted, so he was gonna make damn sure that didn't happen!
Both his hands were already gone. Dooku cut off one of them in AotC, and Obi Wan cut off the other one plus his legs in RotS. Watch RotS when he's trying to climb back up the lava bank after he burns. He's using one single robo arm. He probably did it so that if Vader was using his saber in that hand, it would make it that much harder to actually disarm him of his weapon.
So one can just kill him with an EMP, hack, or use the force to push the override switch, EMP seems real easy, Batman in Dark Knight Rises could just one shot him
I think the only reason Vader was able to thrive in his suit and cybernetics was due to his immense power in the Force. Each day was an exercise in misery and frustration for him, yet, he presses on without grumbling. Any being of lesser power would've perished under the same conditions.
One thing I don’t think you added was the fact that his original suits limbs were destroyed when he went on the quest kill a Jedi master take his saber crystal and bleed it dearth Vader rebuilt his suit that would be an 8th fact

McQuarrie originally thought of the suit as a way for him to transverse open space when boarding ships and Lucas went with it.

In the prequels we see numerous times how Jedi - for example Obi Wan - counter Force Lightning relatively effortless by using their lightsaber. And at least one (Mace Windu) did Anakin/Vader observe that himself close up.
Now, here's the catch: By the time Obi Wan faced Dooku, he cannot possibly be ever before have been confronted with Force Lightning because the Sith were basically thought to had been extinct. Still, he can counter it (and using a lightsaber as a tool makes perfect sense).
Anakin/ Vader was the Chosen One, able to quickly learn Force powers by just observing. And he observed Mace withstanding Palpatine.
Hence, it doesn't any make sense to assume that Vader couldn't in a duell just use this to protect himself long enough to make his much stronger physicality count for.

I always wondered why palpatine didn’t just take anakin’s genetic template and clone him. Then he could use essence transfer to transfer Anakin’s mind to a new healthy clone body instead of confine him to that suit.
Only sith can transfer user's conscience into others throught the force.

If Vader’s gloves had Beskar weave to protect his hands from light saber damage, how was it cut off by Luke in RTOJ?

Beskar weave is lightsaber resistant. Not lightsaber proof. There's a difference. Just means it's harder to cut through, meaning a glancing blow wouldn't do the trick. But Luke was strong and also probably chopped down with force enhanced strength and cleaved straight through.

largely headcanon, but I kinda feel like Jedi and Sith project an aura of sorts through the force (which is what's being sensed by eachother) that essentially means more minute manipulations like that just won't work. it also explains why it takes considerable effort to force push, or pull a jedi or sith around even if they don't know it's coming.

I never got the scared to upgrade part. The force has been shown to sustain life of of pure hatred so you would just have to up grade him with no pain killers after someone mad him mad .
Vader was so badly injured in the first place that Palpatine couldn't risk it since just putting him in this monstrosity of a suit took days.
Not necessarily scared, but the suit was built with ancient sith alchemy, you didn't had many of those around the galaxy. The suit made him more connected to the dark side more than an upgraded suit could. Therefore keeping the fisical limitations in a way was what made him a better Sith.

Uhhhh pretty sure taking off his mask is what contributed to killing. Yes the lightning did severe damage but tasking the helmet off accelerated his death because he wanted to look at Luke with his own eyes

I never liked the idea that Vaders suit was old or of poor construction, it never really sat with the character that always was tinkering or changing things. I do like that the disney films show that he can take it off, in a way taking away the poor construction idea. Money didnt mean anything to the Empire, the Deathstars prove that so whats it to them making Vaders suit the best it can be.

About the amulet on his right hand, I think it is wrong. There is a scene in Roge One where he can reflect a blast with his left hand, using the force.
I knew the glove was indestructible. The imperial who took it was actually trying to pass himself off as the Emperor’s son, when he couldn’t even use the Force, and used trickery to reproduce the with lightning.
So basically Darth Vader is a version of Batman who can use the dark side of the force.

I think it was elaborated in a book once that clones and cloned body parts degrade faster so Vader deemed the idea a waste of time and resources as he would be required to constantly get new replacements put in when the old ones started going bad.

We know that Anakin had to be removed from the suit in order for his dead skin to be debrided from his ruined body on a regular basis. We also have seen Anakin in a bacta tank, minus his suit. I suggest that removal from the suit was not a possible life ending event as you suggest in this video.

Question regarding the helmet. Now in ROTS, it's a three piece(face, helmet ,neck).
Obi wan it's a two piece(neck, Helmet/face.).
Then Empire it's back the Obi Wan.
While ROTJ it's back to the ROTS one.

I actually have a theory why palpatine went to the trouble of adding the amulet to that gloved hand. Remember that so little of Anakin remained, It was imperative to keep as much of the former sith as possible so his force powers could remain intact. Losing his apprentice's still-human hand was the last thing palpatine wanted, so he was gonna make damn sure that didn't happen!
Both his hands were already gone. Dooku cut off one of them in AotC, and Obi Wan cut off the other one plus his legs in RotS. Watch RotS when he's trying to climb back up the lava bank after he burns. He's using one single robo arm. He probably did it so that if Vader was using his saber in that hand, it would make it that much harder to actually disarm him of his weapon.

I think the only reason Vader was able to thrive in his suit and cybernetics was due to his immense power in the Force. Each day was an exercise in misery and frustration for him, yet, he presses on without grumbling. Any being of lesser power would've perished under the same conditions.
The Emperor was shooting force lightning at Luke when Vader picked him up. The Emperor's lightning then hit Vader damaging his suit.
