"Decluttering be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, brings about ease and inspires a sense of peace, calm and tranquility. Your inner state reflects your outer state and vice versa." ✨🙏
For manuals, most appliances and electronics companies have their manuals easily available online. I would just make a note of the make and model of your stuff and toss any paper manuals. Warranties are tricky. Scanning those if you plan on claiming them is probably a good idea. Some might be expired, so if you can declutter expired warranties and keep the rest, do so! Love the chill, productive vibes of these videos! I need to declutter my kitchen so bad. 😩
I know you don't typically do fashion videos but since you've downsized your closet quite a bit i'd love to see how you can style an outfit multiple ways. The biggest issue I have with getting rid of clothing items is I'm not the best at styling basics to make them into completely different outfits for different occasions. Love the videos!
one thing i've learnt was to have just a few statement pieces (clothing, shoes, accessories, etc) that are stored separately and/or are minimal in quantity; they do the whole "eye-catching" job without the rest of the outfit doing too much. the idea of a minimal closet is (typically) to make it as functional as possible, so the idea of "dressing up" doesn't actually come into play too much. you'll see in this video; she has a section for her dresses (could be replaced with leather trousers/funky shirts) and jackets specifically, and her storage for accessories, shoes, and jewellery potentially allow for some statement pieces too. so basically you can have a couple statement pieces to tie it all together, without wasting too much storage space on it. hopefully that made sense
You're decluttering video is so zen. I am obsessed with your style as well. I immediately started decluttering my place by watching and listening to your video. Keep inspiring one household at a time. 🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡
Did this last summer, only in two weeks. It was a HUGE relief! Pick a room, pick a closet, pick a shelf, and work your way around. Take everything out of the chosen shelf, purge all you can, clean the shelf, and make it pretty. Move clockwise around the room. The cleaning and making it pretty was probably why it took twice as long, but it was essential for me to stay motivated. :)
hey, maybe a dumb note, but if you feel like thinking everything over and having a slow progress of decluttering, that just happens to be your way of (slowly) letting things go. Accept yourself for who you are, this is your pace!
omg sis how are yu??? i suddenly reminded by something of ur channel. i still remember how yu talked abt the benefits of journaling or recapping the day, ur favorite glossier balm, and eating ice for ‘eating only clear foods’. cant believe it was years ago. glad to see yu around doing what yu love and sharing the positivities yu’ve been sharing. im still trying to keep up with my diary, nonetheless, thank yu for giving such good impact to myself 🖤 *i did change acc tho thats why i just subbed
We moved during Christmas and it has made the process of feeling de cluttered both difficult and easy. We know what we have but now it all needs a new home. Great to know that we can find new places for things but it also really makes you conscious of what you need/want to keep. Love a good declutter inspo video ♥️ Your videos are so calming and centering. ♥️
I used to hoard clothes even though I didnt like them because they were given as gifts etc and I was never taught how to donate things since my mother is a hoarder. I moved about a year ago and donated the bulk of the clothes I definitely didn't like or wear and a year later (now) I have thinned it out so much that decision fatigue about clothes is almost never an issue anymore. I used to frequently try to make outfits with clothes that werent my style or didnt fit me and get upset about it but now I dont need to worry anymore
We're on this atm at our home. And it feels so amazing to do. It is a lot of work, takes dedication and willpower and can be stressful or even overwhelming at times but it's all well worth it.
This actually motivated me to clean out my closet! I paused the video in the middle, went through it and came back. I especially like the "would I buy it again?" aproach. Or in my case as I have lots of second Hand clothes: would I pick it up again if it was in someones gift basket in front of their House. Some things I had twice the same one so I kept the better looking one. And yeah I have found some things that I definitely feel guilty about and only kept because of that. I bought them with my mum and with some of them I still remember her asking "but are you going to wear that" and me being fully convinced I will. Yeah. I didnt. Or I only did once. I think I have to confess to her...
A lot of time you can find a product's manual in pdf format on the products website or somewhere else online. If you have a google drive you can just made a folder and keep it there, easily accessible via phone or computer.
This was a really well made video. I would donate any food to a food bank that you can; and I keep those Christmas bags with my decorations for the next year so I don't have to repurchase and create more waste! It's a great money and environmental saver as it's such a waste throwing those away! Don't hang knitwear! It ruins the clothes! They need to be folded!
You're the first creator I've ever seen do a car sponsorship, amazing work! Get it 🥰 currently in the midst of a huge declutter, your work helps loads!
Loved this video! Can’t wait for your whole house clean! I’d love to know what’s in your medicine cabinet (everyday skin care) and make up kit - a video on this would be great. And would also love to know where that great under bed storage thing is from?
Thank you for this vid! I'm about to get married next year, and seeing how you organize things in your home makes want to keep our future space, minimal and neat!
I have an assload of pinecones, rocks, sticks, leaves, acorns, hornet nests, a snake skin.... I can't. I really can't let them go. I have been looking for the perfect vase and armoire or shelves to display them but it's been so long. I have no issue with the other crap, though. I declutter once a year (didn't last year) but the pinecone/ wood hoarding situation is getting... Wild.
Decluttering as I’m watching this! The only clothing category I have a hard time downsizing is house clothes because I have old ones that look shit but are sooo comfy to wear lol
Love this! I have been decluttering all this month and it feels great. Seeing a big pile like yours would have been satisfying! Edit: i also use a caboodle for makeup! it brings me back to childhood lol
If your taking a suggestion on adding color why not look for a little navy and a green item or two (like the bacteria hoodie you had?) Navy is usually versatile and can pair with the dark and light monochromes you have. I think green is a little trickier to find the flattering shades all the time but I think the right ones will feel a little "fresh" in your wardrobe as it stands now. Plus you have that hoodie if you want to have a guideline for a good color. unless of course your not big on green ;)
For many manuals, you can find them online! Maybe make a google folder of all manuals you could find online and only save the few paper manuals that are specifically important (and couldn’t find online)?
My gosh, it's such a nice surprise for youtube to recommend this video to me! Love a good declutting but I haven't dropped by your channel since....gosh, when you were living/travelling in Europe?! Such a good vid for them inspo vibes
A huge thing I want to declutter is jewelry. I have TONS of old, tarnished, cheap jewelry that I know I won’t wear again but I have no idea how to dispose of it. Do I still try and donate them? Or would it be better to throw them away? Can any of it be recycled?
YESSS congrats on the Genesis sponsorship!!!! I LOVE my G70 😉 thank you for another awesome video, always well edited and your decluttering strategies / ideas! 💖
Hear me out - I'm from the UK, where super big cars like this aren't as common. As a short person...how do you actually see over the dash? I dunno if it was the camera angle but...

i feel like when styling basics, it's the accessories you wear that speak the loudest!

having a strict color scheme that you like and works for you has helped me so much! Any clothing works that way because colors rarely clash anymore

Loved watching you struggle to put the drawers back in, it felt real. That happens every time for me.

Love that this video popped up! I’ve been deep clean and declutter all week. Now I’m on the last leg which is LAUNDRY 😂

This made me feel at ease, I love your content, thank you for being you and being amazing ✨🫶🏽💛
i love your under bed storage idea, esp for sentimental items that i never know what to do with. could you share where you got yours?
You're the first creator I've ever seen do a car sponsorship, amazing work! Get it 🥰 currently in the midst of a huge declutter, your work helps loads!

I loved all the notes to self and the asmr of the clips rather than filling the space with music
Thank you for this vid! I'm about to get married next year, and seeing how you organize things in your home makes want to keep our future space, minimal and neat!
Yassss to decluttering and reset videos 🎉
For some reasons, i really want to see all of the beauty products that u use. I guess because it's simple but it works ❤
I have an assload of pinecones, rocks, sticks, leaves, acorns, hornet nests, a snake skin.... I can't. I really can't let them go. I have been looking for the perfect vase and armoire or shelves to display them but it's been so long.

I agree I like to keep my makeup drawer as simple as possible❤

Great video. I love your coffee table…does anyone know where this is available?
Love this! I have been decluttering all this month and it feels great. Seeing a big pile like yours would have been satisfying!
Edit: i also use a caboodle for makeup! it brings me back to childhood lol
Love this content, it's so soothing! Where is your jewellery box from?
Never even considered the Genesis as my husband and I are looking at buying an SUV for our growing family. Thanks for opening my eyes!
your voice is really calming

You gave me so many ideas. I love this and need a declutter badly, soon. Thank you!

Thank you for another inspiring video! Question - where is the coffee table from? I love the design!
Love this video! Just wondering how you know which toothbrush is yours and which is your parnters? :)

Hii, thanks for the video

They better have given you the car 💥
Happy New Year 2023!🎆
Your videos are just the best. Congratulations on your new car.
Love the video! Would you/ anyone mind telling me what toothbrush you use? Thank you very much 🫶🏽💜
My gosh, it's such a nice surprise for youtube to recommend this video to me! Love a good declutting but I haven't dropped by your channel since....gosh, when you were living/travelling in Europe?! Such a good vid for them inspo vibes

for the food items that turn out not to be for you, a good alternative for throwing them out could be apps like too good to go

I love your videos I've been watching them forever! You're always so positive 💗
Setting a timer is such a good idea especially if you have ADHD cause it keeps you on track (for the most part lol)
A huge thing I want to declutter is jewelry. I have TONS of old, tarnished, cheap jewelry that I know I won’t wear again but I have no idea how to dispose of it. Do I still try and donate them? Or would it be better to throw them away? Can any of it be recycled?
Throw them away🙈 nobody wants to wear used cheap jewelry🤢
YESSS congrats on the Genesis sponsorship!!!! I LOVE my G70 😉 thank you for another awesome video, always well edited and your decluttering strategies / ideas! 💖

I love your videos😀
soooo guud!🤍🤍
Where can I buy those beige square boxes from your closet?
Thanks for sharing. It's was really helpful :)
Most product manuals are available online and can be downloaded.
Can you link your under bed storage and the clear frames and albums?
Where can we get the uv toothbrush holder
I really did! My spice cabinets are ridiculous!
Beautiful video.
Where did you get your couch?
I have the same decluttering method ❤
00:12 You threw away the cat!??!
for the manuals, I feel that most are already available online, so I would recommend to toss the ones that are available online :)
