Oh wow I never realized he is on keyboard, I always imagined a guy with a wheel+pedal set for a few hundred $. Assuming that Camaro didn`t even use traction control set to "sport" by the looks of it that is very impressive.
I wonder if it is at least one of those analog keyboards which have shown up recently.

This game is set up to control differently depending on device. Because you can't modulate your input, the game does the steering for you in turns, and even keeps the car stable for you. Its not better than a controller, but it is easy to drive consistently
this build feels so much like "F around and find out" and I'm there for it

It kinda reminds me of the Intimdator SS Camaro they sold at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton NC

Funny enough, thats not too far from what the real gearing on those old T-56 transmissions was. 5th and 6th are back to back overdrives so top speed was realistically in 4th though well below 200mph lol

The last race ending came down to the absolute last burst of acceleration: bringing the distance down to a 1.7 second gap at the line on his 1.8 second penalty --gotta go clean my pants now...

This has to be proof of how damn good you are with a keyboard because even with a controller I feel like the amount of wheel spin this monster has would still be kinda hard to keep control of.
The only thing that could make this video better was if you were firing an ar-15 into the sky on that final stretch of the first race 😂

That first race was my favorite. Holy hell that was fast!
First place was 9 seconds ahead and he managed to gain 3 seconds on him. When that last lap came and I saw 1st place was now only 3 seconds ahead, I knew he was caught or it was gonna be really close lol good race 🏁

jeeze dude, i was gonna say if you were easier on the accelerator you could maybe get a smoother launch, but i went back and you were trying to feather it, that thing just wants to spin till your in 4th lol
man if you could just get some grip on turns you'd really have something here, looks like its still on the RWD drivetrain? im a big AWD/4WD fan, usualy end up losing time on straights but try to make it up out gripping in the turns
i just noticed some times where you had to go completely off throttle for long periods of time on turns, and TBH that was some good work, one wrong move there that things in the wall, but those are the areas id be looking to to reduce time.

The catfish Camaro is actually a popular choice for drag racing, especially when it's turned into a Pro Mod or a Funny Car. A 1050 HP V8 is also on the lowest side of power needed for a beast of this kind. Needless to say, the only direction you want this thing aiming at is only straight ahead.

I still love that forza lets you make rockets that would be unusable with an automatic transmission and near the mid pack at best on routes with no opportunity to let the hammer down.

Right when yesterday I watched a video about Donut media getting a request from MrBeast to make a rocket car, which was a Pontiac with a Camaro look.
I used to not think much of your keyboard gameplay beacuse I race pretty well on controller but man when I got a taste of the really fast cars and those open wheeled vehicles🙅🏾🙅🏾 I don't know how you do it man😂 especially when you touch the grass, I'll say to myself "yea he's done" just to watch you accelerate off the grass like mcqueen 😂😂
Try it on a wheel setup.. It's even worse, if you touch the grass with almost any RWD with some power you are fighting for your life.

Respect for playing on a keyboard brother...takes a lot of patience and skill...I suggest getting a PS5 controller and attaching a heightened stick mod ($2) which will help tremendously in turning while also helping in braking (ABS off) and accelerating (proper diffs)

Yup... reminds me of a friend's car with 800+rwp on semi-slicks... Want to light the tires up? Pick a gear, 2, 3, 4, 5... from a stop of moving? Doesn't matter. It'll light the wheels up in 5th gear at 70mph... let alone 150+ Absolutely insane.
