I'm 57 and have vaginal atrophy and recently had vaginal staph, due to dryness and uti. Nurse practitioner suggested estrodial, but I was on fence bc don't like meds. This vid has convinced me to go on it! Thank you thank you! You don't know what a blessing this video has been for me!!!! AJ, keep on doing what you are doing! You are helping so many people!!!
I went to so many doctors in NYC, and Washington DC and they all said no to HRT because it causes cancer. The endocrinologist told me that he did not know or treat menopause and I should see a specialist. He did not know of any endocrinologist that specializes in menopause. My gyn just said no to HRT, period. I did have a frozen shoulder and received a steroid injection and that helped but he never told me it was due to menopause. I do have anxiety, situational and my doctor wants to put me on antidepressants. I am not depressed. It is so very frustrating. Thank you for interviewing Dr. Rubin.
"My brain wants to explode with anger and rage." That was a perfect response to the question-asker's experiance with her doc. I felt the same way as I imagined being in that patient's shoes. Thank you doc for being informed, wise and caring.
struggled with menopause symptoms, feeling lost in the complexity of treatments. this video was informative. Aspect Health helped me navigate these issues, finding personalized solutions felt like a relief amidst the confusion.
I really appreciate you Chef AJ for having a discussion about hormonal therapy. I love the way Rachel Rubin makes it simple to understand how hrt works. It's about time more of these discussions are had because every woman will go through menopause.
Thank you so much! I was on this about 7 years ago while living in CT. When I moved back to KS my doctor here (I had been with him for years before I went to CT) said I had to have a compensating hormone (because of cancer risk) and I started getting my period and said no way am I going through that again every month. Thank you thank you thank you! I'm going to give my doctor this information and have a good talk with him about this again. Hopefully he has learned more, and if not, I'll go see an OB-GYN if I can find one that knows this cream is safe.
Did the estradiol vaginally and it really helped, then a couple months ago I decided to do estrogen and progesterone (plant sourced) and I feel like I am 40 again. Getting strong, sleeping better, just more energy all the time is wonderful. I am 67, getting younger everyday.
When i was having painful sex for yrs i finally told my Gyno and he rechecked me and determined it was my urethra. It mad since to me because it felt like it. I went to a urologist and he said my urethra needed to be stretched.
What a great show!!!! Love Dr Rubin and so sad I missed the live but just heard the replay, she is really amazing! My urogyn knows of her very well and she has her podcast too..😄 I felt more comfortable going on estradiol after talking to my urogyn and listening to Dr Rubin, so nice to feel so much better and sparking connection with hubby 🥰🥰 Thank you for being the voice for women going through a beautiful phase of life..🥰🌹♥️ And thank you so much for all of the work you do Chef AJ 🤗🥦🫐🌱
Does her and her team take online appointments? It has been impossible to find a Menopause specialist near me. I have really good medical so I'm going to assume it may be covered.

What do you mean ,”plant sourced “? Do you use a patch or oral? I am trying to figure all of these things out. Thanks for sharing😃
Thank you for this 🎉🎉
You are so welcome!

I am currently on bioidentical hormone therapy. However, it costs me $96.00 every time I get them. My insurance will not pay for them.
We have ovestin in the uk

I’m in Australia. Can you suggest a brand available here that is vegan, ie not derived from horses (or other animals). Thanks. 🙂
