  • Rainbow chard microgreens are another masterpiece accomplishment along with beet microgreens! :O) Rainbow chard microgreens have been one of the most trying of all my work growing on screens hydroponically. Yes, the rainbow chard microgreens were grown on screen! There is no need to grow in soil. In this video, I demonstrate how I personally grow super-dense, healthy rainbow chard microgreens on the medium screen. If you want to maximize your efforts growing the elusive rainbow chard microgreens, email me using the link below.

    My tomatoes are a new phenomenal agricultural breakthough that allows tomato to grow just about anywhere. A mutation appeared in a cross I made while breeding tomatoes for heat tolerance. It should be a game-changer if I can partner and get the genetics protected and begin production en mass. It's much slower doing it all on my own.

    Hi Brent, excellent grow! may I know if the white screen that you are using is the ( dehydrator food grade -size 15 x 11 ) type? The one that u mentioned in another video ? As my trays are of a different size from yours, would it be possible to purchase a roll instead of 10 by 20 cut pieces from your link.Tq and regards.

    • @C3Voyage
      @C3Voyage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I only sell in cut pieces including custom cuts, likely depending on the dimensions.

    Hello Brent.
    I am wondering if you could arrange a video on how to grow microgreens for personal use for one or two people. The large trays seem to me too large and I would not want to waste seeds. I wonder how I can strategize plant rotation, meaning....plant 3-4 different varieties is smaller quantites and be able to harves them in a way where I can keep a cycle going. By the time I harvest what i first planted some other ones will be coming up, and so on. Smal trays that feet on thr 10x20 will be ideal. Is that possible?
    Thanks for your time.
    God bless you

      After watching that, cut screen to fit your needs harvesting one square at a time, replanting with new. You will need to change out the reservoir every week or so to keep roots healthy.

    Hello, Brent can you tell me how long do you need to freeze beet seeds? What is the soaking temperature? How long do I need to soak? thank you

    • @C3Voyage
      @C3Voyage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't need to freeze them. I do it to just store them a long time. Soaking temp is room temp or luke warm at first, but can cool down to room temp without issue. I do it for 24 hours.

    Hi Brent,
    I am interested in growing & selling Live microgreens. I love your screen method but already had in mind the 5" x 5" insert trays from Bootstrap farmer. Once they are ready, I can skip the harvest & just place directly into a vented clamshell.
    How can I accomplish this without having to constantly keep buying Jute, Coconut Fiber or another medium?

    • @C3Voyage
      @C3Voyage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a "small batch live grow" video. I pulled them out of the screen and placed on folded paper towel. That's what I came up with.

    Will you be soaking ALL your seeds from now on or just the vacuum paks?

    • @C3Voyage
      @C3Voyage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Angela! No, I only soak certain types of seed. The vacuum-sealing is just to keep the seed fresh for long periods of time. I think the expensive seed will get this type of treatment along with seed that has a short shelf life.

    How much seed per tray for the chard?

      Essentially, cover the entire tray in a single layer. The grams of seed is dependent on the trays used. So, spread some dry seed on till you get a full tray and then take it off and weigh it. Now, you've got your amount in weight to measure for every tray, every time.
