This is amazing, I can hear the sounds of big radials and the whining Electra at the front of Dakota House over 20 years ago. Strangely you have really captured the box hedges over by the West Atlantic premises, they are still there!. I did CPL training here in Dakota House with Atlantic Flight Training and between classes it was great to wander outside and look at so many old aircraft, but also... the box hedges fascinated me ?? It all brings back so many wonderful memories. Thank you..
Flew on the DC3 Dakotas-based from Coventry on air atlantique to various uk airshows do not fly from here anymore not sure what happened to the aircraft

I'd love to be able to model and texture sceneries. Can you tell me a little bit about your learning process, things you did to learn how to make such a nice looking airport? I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks, it's worth looking at TH-cam tutorials regarding Blender and the FS2020 SDK, the new sim is very developer friendly in terms of the SDK, more-so than FSX/P3D, so if you put your mind to it I'm sure you'll be able to make something good!

@@JackMooGamer45 thanks for the comment! The scenery is still in development, albeit progress has been a bit slowed as I’ve had a busy time over the last 6 months or so. I’m unsure as to why the Facebook link doesn’t seem to work now, but if you type in ‘MT Scenery Design’ on Facebook it should come up! You’ll see some progress pics on there.
good job! look forward to it coming out. I visited the airport in late 2019 whilst working nearby and had a look at the DC6's parked up. I remember buffalo airways buying some aircraft from Coventry and watching it on TV when I was younger. Also, I live near Newquay so remember them moving classic airforce aircraft down to Cornwall from Coventry. Sad that all of that has gone now and there's less going on there. Do you know the future plans for the airport? I heard it's closing.

Future plans for the airport are all a bit up in the air currently, as there are proposals to build an electric vehicle battery plant on the site, however this is only in the early proposal stage yet. The beauty about all this is that you have the chance to take pics of the location which helps with texturing properly and faster.

Looks amazing, I really want Midland and cove aero as when i do vfr currently i park over there.
You'll be pleasantly surprised then! All of the airport is being modelled in very high detail, even areas off the airport site :)
