OMG thank you! I couldn’t find my problem and when i watched your video, it had the same sound ! So i found the same situation with my disk reader the flex cable was unseated!!!!

Thank you for making such a brilliant video. Not a single other video on here talks about the drive mechanism or repairing it.
Took me hours trying to figure out how the magnetic spindle pulley was supposed to go haha
Everyone's always just ,,replace and throw away the old part" but soooo many old parts still work perfectly and just require a but of work. Replacement is not repair!
