I saw this lil outfit at walmart, and it was a white shirt that said "i speak fluent emoji" and it had another button up over it like jareds wardrobe. I saw it and i whispered to myself "the insanely cool jared kleinman was here.." than i told my mom about it and now im debating if i should go as evan, connor or jared.
there was video of him showing what his jeans were that day and then what his character wore, and they were the same brand
He could literally wear his normal clothes on stage and no one would notice
it’s kind of nice to hear someone other than Ben Platt sing this role. He’s amazing, but I think it’s important to let someone new shine as well. Taylor and Alex bring something fresh and exciting to this show.

First time I saw the show on Broadway was August 2018. Alex and Taylor had just taken over full time as did Mallory bechtel playing Zoe with sky Lakota lynch as Jared. They were a great cast. Michael Park OG Larry was still there too. I’d second a cast album with this full cast 👍🏻

I'm always gonna miss the original cast, but taylor and alex are amazing, they deserve just as much recognition as ben and mike. I love both versions of this equally, this is more raw and genuine but the original is amazing in its own way, they both have positives.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex in July after a show. He was so sweet and kind to every one of the fans and really seemed to be enjoying himself. If you go to the show I highly recommend to stagedoor, it’s also something you can do if you don’t go which is awesome. Personally, I love Alex as Connor 💙

We are blessed to have voices like Taylor and Alex. We are blessed to have song writers like Pasek and Paul. We are blessed to have conductors like Alex Lacamoire. And we are blessed to have a musical like Dear Evan Hansen bringing mental illness to the forefront of conversations. This is a perfect way to start a conversation with your children, go see this musical, listen to this with your kids.

I always freaking cry when listening to this song. My high school days were a living hell. I was in a male school and everyday I was picked on because of my weight, my voice, my hobbies, everything. Two weeks before the graduation, when I thought everything would be over, I found a website full of hate messages and drawings of myself. Everybody in my class was in that website, but me. They never said sorry and the school didn't do anything.
I wish I could have heard somebody singing this song back in the day and maybe I wouldn't have been so depressed and feeling like I was worthless.
The funny part when you had this kind of trauma, you choose to come back. I'm a high school teacher and although it seems like it's more peaceful, I felt like it is a fake calmness because I keep seeing kids isolated, depressed, anxious and resisting not to explode. Sadly, although every teacher supports them, they need to see their peers to take action. Next month, we will present a project based on this premise "No one deserves to be forgotten/fade away". Sometimes we don't understand that the point of this musical is telling us we don't have to wait until someone takes their one life to be kind with one another.
