- This video will include a walkthrough on how to get Nagakiba Katana in Elden Ring. You'll need to find a NPC named Yura and kill him to get the Nagakiba Katana. He is found near Murkwater Caverns area as you'll see in the video. This Katana is one of longest katana I have seen so far in game and it looks really awesome to use on a dex strength build.

To help those who has the same situation like me, i almost completed the game, two bosses remain.(spoiler so i cant say who, just gonna hint with ''fire''), go to the location that you find yura at after killing the reduvia guy. you will find the katana. and for the armor kill the guy on mountaintop. glhf
i killed him but only got his amour set??
@@atake1115 go back to the river where you fight the reduvia wielder, go under the huge ruins (still on the bridge) where he would talk to you, but you would only find his katana, near jellyfish.

For those who DONT WANT TO KILL: you can go to the seaside ruins grace and go just a little east to the broke ruins hes underneath and if hes still there then you havent progressed enough onces hes in the mountains hell have left the sword in that spot :)

No worries mate! In case you missed it, go to 2nd Church of Marika in Altus Plateau for Elenora Poleblade which is part of Yura’s quest in case you killed him like me

Disclaimer: If you want to do quest from him do not kill him. You’ll get Katana and some more rewards at the end of the Quest. If you have killed him, go to a 2nd Church of Marika, Bloody Finger Elenora will invade you. Defeat her and get the Elenora Poleblade that way if you missed the quest-line

You don’t need the quest to get the blade btw, I killed him and killed the bloody finger and got both weapons

If you go there after you killed him elenora will still invade
Went back here after I progressed the story to the end and found the Katana in the same spot the npc shows up in.

He has a series of quest, and you can get some cool stuff not only katana, but also from Eleonora Poleblade Yura main enemy 😁
I got that while I visited some Chruch! Some bloodfinger Eleanora invaded me and I got Poleblade from it. But regardlessI am following his questlinr in my 2nd play through. I just couldn’t wait to get that Katana for first playthrough
If you kill yura u can still get the pole blade, just head to the location and defeat the bloody finger with it.

@@jvstkatesearch it up, its actually very fun. You need to head to one of the islands left of the academy and get the key, and only then will it let you in. Fun place and its part of another quest.

Bro i just bought the game , searched for samurai early build , found a video , went there lv 1 , died 22 times counted, and i got it just to realize i am underleveled for the sword... hmm...
I did everything everyone's said on the comments and I still don't see his sword, I'm at the end of the game but can't find it, did his quest nothing, killed shabriri and got the armor but still no sword, went back to his first spot under the ruins and still no sword?? Nvm I found it, if u did everything but don't see it it's was at the lucaria bridge where u help him fight the invader guess I missed talking to him there so that was where the sword was at for me

I think he is one of the side quest npc... maybe finish his questline could get the katana instead of killing him

@@Player_kai_gaming *(to those already talked to him and can't find him at the location in the video showed) his 2nd location is somewhere around the centre pound in the middle of limgrave under a big Semi circle .... I'm not sure where he will move to after that because I haven't done that part of questline yet...

It’s more worth it to kill him, you get both weapons anyway way, he drops his katana and if you go to the second church you still get invaded and she still drops the weapon

Good video but how do I dual wield that katana? I’m a warrior main btw
If you want to dual wield you have to give up weight on armor or have a lot of strength to wield it. For dual wield only right hand weapon can use weapon art as well I believe
I am a samurai level 30 only got my uchigatana to plus 3 because i dont have spirit runes. I know there are tough bosses ahead but idk what Im supposed to do next? How do I get better runes to better my weapon and what armor should I get I'm so lost lol
Its a bit overwhelming for a new player I’m sure. It’s okay to be lost mate. I would suggest you just have to face Margit the Fell and explore Stormveil Castle slowly and eventually you’ll get to Godrick who is the first main boss. Try to work on that first and continue from there

He Should be still there
He'll still be there but he'll attack you so you don't get the upper hand/element of surprise.

He can be in different locations of his quest line according to your story progression of the game

Yes he moves with your progression so he’s kinda hard to track down. I think he’s one of the early NPC you meet in game so probably have to find him in NG+

@@Player_kai_gaming thanks, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't the problem, my game is glitched and almost none of the quest giving NPC's spawn, even Blaidd doesn't spawn in Nokron for ranni's quest
Yura never spawned for me after killing the invader he was not in the spot you guys found him. No katana either :/ please help

I think at mountaintop you don’t get weapons. Like he said there it’s not Yura anymore. It’s shabribri the god of Frenzied Flame using Yura’s body

You gotta follow Yura’s quest until Altus Plateau second church of Marika or kill Yura where ever you see him first.

I think I messed up. I killed the fake guy at the mountain tops yesterday and today at the plateau 2nd church I beat the invader. No kitana. Smh

He wasn't there, he was at the top of the mountains then I went back to his spot the katana wasn't there. I went and killed him and he didn't drop it. When I went back again it still wasn't there
This guy move locations accordingly to your main story progression so easiest would be doing at start of Ng+ mate

If you missed him and progressed further into the game, unfortunately you can miss his npc questline for that playthrough
I see him near the Agheel lake south, but he says "Don't be a fool, turn back before it's too late" What do i do about that?

DONT KILL HIM YOU GET A QUEST THAT GIVES YOU A BETTER WEAPON.
If you only want the Nagakiba and not Eleanora's poleblade or Reduvia, just kill him. I went through his quest thinking they'd be quick, they are not. It is long and arduous and at one point you have to kill a very powerful boss to get to the location to get the Nagakiba. I'm thinking blood builds using poleblade and reduvia are about to get a big nerf for being overpowered so I'm going with the Nagakiba dex build.
After killing Yura, I got the Elenora Pole-blade when I went to 2nd Church of Marika, Bloody Finger Elenora invaded me and I killed her and got ghe weapon. For Reduvia I got it before killing him but I do misseda bunch of quests
You can get both weapons without doing his quest! If you kill him you get katana, then head to the church and you’ll get invaded by the bloody finger, if you kill her she drops it! I just did it myself

go downwards where you started you game turn left and go straight to a broken wreck ,underneath that he will be found standing with the sword. ( just near it demihumans and humans are fighting so you can roam around and get that place .)

uh no....idk where the hell u are but I found him in the beginning of tyhe game.....hes at rthe dragon lake....and says you'd be an idiot to go in there.....I was told I can kill him right off the bat...but I had no idea u could attack NPCs in this....i know u could in Dark Souls
literally just got the sword. Killed him near the dragon lake just just now and got his sword. Done deal. His gear be damned.....or his quest bugger all.....maybe in my second run[if I ever do another]

Sorry if I screwed it up for you as well I made a mistake by killing him before the quest cuz I wanted the Katana pretty bad back then. I missed out on some items which I’ll try to get on ng+. If you have killed him, theres a chruch in Caelid where Bloody finger Elenora will invade you and if you kill her you’ll get Elenora Poleblade that way.

@@Player_kai_gaming I am like nowhere near the end of the game and there is no explanation for any of the lore and honestly the way it's set up would be more full of a game but I guess sticking to the roots of dark souls is more important
