Wow great vid ty I’ve got an 8 month old Red Sea max 130d with softies and lps and about two months maybe but less ago I upgraded my stock Red Sea T5’s to one AI Hydra 26 hd and my alk dropping much faster than with T5’s after watching this video I now know why thank you!

I would like to hear your take on nutrient balance no3-po4/levels/feeding/supplements etc. I know you post a lot on aquatic log but it would be great to hear what you have to say about why you strive for certain levels.

I have a millepora which is not in good shape but apart from that, I really really hope that my acros will regain their colour; currently they are pretty pale and dull... I will check KH daily, right now I have 8.9 and my NO3 are at approximately 10. PHOS at 0.01-0.02.

Конечно, дело в том, что я очень не люблю как выглядит роял блю - он для меня слишком фиолетовый и не натуральный. Я предпочитаю лазуревые и синие цвета моря, по-этому я его убираю немного. Но кораллы его любят.
@@TreasureCorals понятно. т.е. его можно и приподнять для более синего цвета, только лучше для коралов, их цвета и роста? и личных предпочтений по общей цветовой палитре.

@@andrew5762 I have not tried the Red Sea one, but I am extremely pleased with the Hydras and they've been my goto light for many years. The latest generation just takes it a notch further. I always think of it as MH + T5 hybrid in form of an led.
Since then I have moved them to the back wall, I did some extensive thinking and playing around until I got the pattern I wanted. If you look for an mp40 video in my channel I describe it there and show the settings.

In the short time I’ve been running I couldn’t be happier. Overall look of tank exactly what I want and legit my corals have doubled in size/or just fully extended but a very noticeable difference from T5’s. I’ve got a Red Sea max 130d one day I hope to get a reefer series those are sick. Your big Red Sea tank is gorgeous i love the white way better than the black stand. I saw u on AI’s site that’s awesome you got picked but obvious why your tank is epic.
Сейчас бы я в серьез задумался насчет пятого поколения Радионов. Ну или последний AI. Т5 уже много лет не использовал, но его люблю до сих пор. Акропоры его тоже любят, но можно и без них
Dmitry Tumanov я тоже на радионы 5 глаз положил, тем более они и по цене за ватт дешевле гидры. Т5 думаю добавить две трубки попозже, если понадобятся. Спасибо за совет.
@@TreasureCorals Я ставил Вашу схему освещения у себя для пробы загрузки на гидру, но не понял какую интенсивность использовать для маленького аквариума(30×40×40). Но сейчас будет куб 60х60х60 и там хочу попробовать. К тому же планирую сделать спс и лпс банку. К сожалению AI не особо пользуется популярностью в РФ, больше радионы. Мне больше AI. Если будут какие рекомендации, то буду рад.

@@antanestis Yes, good idea. 32s are more powerful, so I would acclimate and also keep an eye on your inhabitants and alkalinity on a daily basis.

Little to baby blue for my liking. How much white are you using? You said blues and viloets all the way up?
Usually 10-15 white, but that's personal preference - so easily can be adjusted to whatever you personally like.

Whats the reason you turn down the royal blues all the way down in part of the schedule?
I don't like purple color in a marine aquarium - it looks unnatural to me aesthetically, but I appreciate it's spectrum for coral health.
Dmitry my friend , in your view would it be worth me changing my two Red Sea 90s to 2x 52s for my 340lte mix reef 🤔😀👍🏴
Thanks Andrew. I absolutely love the 52, but I would strongly recommend upgrading to 64 as it is simply superior.

Hi Jenny, unfortunately the answer is - it depends. I think 2-3 weeks is alright, but you want to be keeping an eye on your corals here.
