She never mentioned to close the water valve before removing the hose in the back. This what my manual says wich is more easier. 1 Shut off water valve of the back or inside of unit. 2Twist expired filters to removed them, clockwise and then insert new ones. 3 Turn on water valve that you previously shut off. 4 Press filter reset button( find it) and hold it until the heating and cooling indicator lights stop blinking. 5 Flush new filters by allowingwater to flow from the cold water for aproximately for 2 mins! Done!!
Because instead of the flushed water going down your drain, as it should, it'll end up in your cooler's supply tank... which you'll then have to drain to get it out, which will take much more effort and time than 1 minute (30s x 2 filters).

How can I buy the filter flushing adapter?
I believe that's clockwise, not counterclockwise - but I could be wrong.
This contradicts the manual which says to replace the filters and then flush them using the machine.
I think you can flush the filter without removing the clear line, I don't remember doing that before. That step is too complicated.
yeah I can't figure out how to get the filter adapter out... they missed showing that step

Why cant you just install the filters then run the water for 30 seconds to flush them. Wouldn’t it be easier then this confusing methods.
