- A leak detector is located in all Avalon Bottleless Water Coolers. This is a safety feature that we put in place to prevent significant damage from a leaking cooler. If your bottleless water cooler was to leak, the leak detector will become went and put the unit into a safety mode to prevent further leaking. Once if the safety mode the unit will no longer allow water to fill past the solenoids and into the tanks, thus preventing the leak from becoming worse. The unit will make a chiming or a beeping noise and the indictor lights will even blink on some models. This video will show you how to turn off the leak detector on freestanding models. A video showing how to turn off a leak detector on countertop models is coming soon.

I replaced my water dispenser over a stupid water sensor that shut the whole system down. Yeah after replacing my water filters, the lights were flashing and I didn't know why ! The reservoir was empty and I didn't know why ! I tried to get in touch with you people and you people would not pick up the phone to help me troubleshoot this simple thing , and even after I filled out a service questionnaire of what was going on on your website. You people never called me back. Luckily , I got an extended warranty and I got my money back over a stupid situation that you people failed in communication. Answer the phone , will you , help those people that have trouble- shooting issues of these water dispensers even if there simple !!!
Through what means did you attempt to contact them? I had no issue getting a response from them when I had a different issue with my water cooler (that wasn't covered in the manual). Also, in what way is it their fault that you didn't bother to read the instruction manual or look up what was wrong before sending it back?
