Wiggles is at the perfect age to own his own air compressor. A man cannot start too early collecting his tools, and he has a nice shop there in the corner! Merry Christmas!
He is tickled to have a real air compressor. I expected it to drown me right out on camera, being able to talk next to it and actually be heard was astounding.
I have a similar sized one from California air tools, my son uses it often to run his model steam engine, buts its primary use is for air in my machine shop which is a small separate building from my large shop where we weld and work on equipment. Plenty of air for blowing off parts etc and nice and quiet, I have it plugged in to the same circuit as the lights so it goes off when you turn off the lights to leave
Interesting thing you mention I hadn't thought of that hazard really, in my main shop my 7.5hp Ingersoll rand is powered up pretty much all the time unless I'm going out of town for a few days or something. I generally try to turn off the valves to the hose reels tho. I guess my thinking was it's rated continuous duty so a leak probably wouldn't be a disaster but maybe I should rethink that!
One minor difference I should note about the California compressor is that it has an electric solenoid to unload, the advantage to this over the mechanical unloader of the vevor is that if it's mid pump cycle and you turn off the lights and power it down then it will still unload as soon as it loses power it doesn't need to wait till the pressure switch reaches pressure
@@markvoluckas4571 the pipe that connected the compressor to the tank fractured from vibration on my dad's so it ran continuously, it got so hot the entire shop was filled with smoke when we walked in on Monday.
Hey, if you're not careful that boy is going to grow up used to doing things with his own hands, good at it, and maybe even enjoying it. Is that what you want? 'Cause that's how you get kids who grow up to lead productive lives.
What! You don't believe in scrap metal recycling?! A few years back I had the job of working on some large US built Speedair compressors for a local plant, out of three I was able to cobble one functional machine together, they were a total heap of junk. I don't think China is the only one filling the scrap metal bin.

Definitely a better tool collection than I had at 8🙂
@@perpetualmotion1 Heck ya, me too
Perfect real world test for Wiggles' grinder. Love it! That's so much quieter than our Craftsman oilless.

Who said they were not a salesman. You and Wiggles make a good team.
Perhaps that can be wiggles gig🙂

I like the idea of powering down when you leave, my dad almost burned his shop down because of a blown line on his air compressor over a weekend.

Merry Christmas Guys, I see my junior self in Wiggles. have a safe holiday- From India.
Thank you, a blessed holiday to you as well.
Wiggles knows what he wants. It's a winner from Vevor. Even I'm interested. Isn't it quiet................
I'm still a bit confused by the >80db in the manual, I guess they were just trying to manage expectations 😂

Oh the horror!
I see this channel turning into a sham wow infomercial..
We will be back to regularly scheduled programming shortly 🙂
China filling our land fills one compressor at a time.
