Thank you, I'm still a little bit blown away by this whole situation. I only started this channel so I could share what I was doing with my friends, I had no idea anybody else would want to watch 😂
I'm glad it did somebody some good, it's the first time I've ever done one of these reviews, but I pretty regularly discuss the tools that I like on my channel regardless of how I came by them.
@@perpetualmotion1 I printed out the manual and wanted to ask you what amperage circuit breaker you were utilizing. The manual suggests a 50amp circuit.
I have the cut50 that I converted to pilot arc, I've had it for over a year and have used the crap out of it. I can confirm your review, it is a great machine for the money.
I've had such fantastic success with the other tools and there's I bought that I was happy to try this out, my impression of their stuff is it's one of the few situations where you actually get more than what you pay for.
That vevor looks pretty nice I wonder how well it can do plasma gouging. I have a Hobart AirForce 12ci It's faster and easier for me to throw in an old set of consumables than setting up the torch or carbon arc on smaller jobs.
What's the duty cycle actually like, as in how long does it run before it shuts off? Say, if somebody strapped that on a shop made CNC table, would it have the run time to do a full plate of parts? Cut a part, program a 10 minute rest, go to the next part, repeat?
I Deal mostly with AL and was curious if that was/was not a good application for this tool. Also, wanted to see if it is Wiggles approved! Thanks for the video.
I only made two cuts on 3/8 thick aluminum plate, it severed it easily enough but it was a little messy. I would have to play with it some more to decide how well it actually works on that. I suspect it would do a cleaner job on thinner stuff than that. But I'm not sure I had the settings quite right for that material either.
Hey great video. Was looking around and it's seems the plasma cutter you got is not on there websight (the page was down 12.17.2024) so it's hard to find. I got one of theas cheapo plazma cutters and it might be good but what people should know that the qualaty of cut is almost more depended on your air compressor. You need a somewhat decent one, i got a cheapo one and i can't cut more than 5mm. So if you need to include the price of a decen air compressor it can be 2 or 3x more expensive.
I have a good few Vevor products, half of which I have been sent to review, seems like good enough gear, unfortunately there was a mistake on my last request, and they sent me a product I have no use for, hence haven't reviewed, and since then they don't respond to my emails ffs lol
It's definitely helpful to have a large compressor, I have an 80 gallon vertical setup, those tend to let the moisture settle out before the air goes out the line.
I really want to try out some of their digital phase converters, for the money those things look like an amazing way to power a three-phase machine off from single phase power.
I am a huge fan of Vevor products. Their value and quality is top shelf on most of them. I have everything from 8" rotary table to the drill bit grinder and many more in between. But the top side creeper for automotive repair is worthless. The design is terrible. It hits the bumper before even getting over the top of the engine. I have a Hypertherm Plasma that i bought when Plasma cutters were out of sight expensive. I paid north of $1300 and its max is only 3/8". I love it for sheet metal. Seems like the Vevor is tons better than my Hypertherm.
I would say shocked is a better description of my response, I have such low expectations for Chinese stuff that my mind was totally blown when it actually exceeded the manufacturers specifications 🤯
Definitely excited when I get a notification you posted a video! Congratulations on the channel growing!!

There stuff has been pretty solid, I have the dividing head they sell and a few vfd drives and have been very happy with them
That's interesting, I was looking at some of their dividing head stuff on the website thinking it looked like a pretty good deal for what it was.
Me too, vises, rotary table have both been good(6 inch rotary with dividing plates, 3 and 4 inch vices)
Thanks very much for the review! Just found your channel. Just placed my order for one!

@@striperman01 I believe I was plugged into a 60 amp 240 volt circuit, I'll try to check tomorrow and verify that is circuit I was plugged into.
@@perpetualmotion1 Thank you! I look forward to your reply!
I have a set of vevor aluminum ramps that I’m right at the weight limit and haven’t had any problems.

Good review
Nice review. Next, GM gonna call & send you a Cadillac for review.
I might have a harder time saying nice things about one of those 😂
@perpetualmotion1 Hahaha

Dude this may be your new gig.
😂 I don't think I'm cut out to be a salesman, it would have to be stuff that I'm actually interested in.

Well you sold me and I'm a carpenter! Just kidding. Was a great review though and I do like how VEVOR support the one-man operator.
...sounds like they nailed it...(?)

@@perpetualmotion1yep, shame as I thought we had a good working relationship too
You need good dry air from compressor. I do like a lot of there products.

Chernobyl mode! 🤣 I love their pipe stands and at around $70 they're hard to beat.

How do you manage to not burn your beard it's a mystery to me!
I regularly singe parts of it, it grows back pretty quick 😁
Is Vevor actually Chinese, or Taiwanese? There's a big difference in terms of quality.
The box definitely says made in China on it.
If you are pleased with the product. I have no doubt I would be. You're not going to falsify the results to get free stuff.
