Great video.I’m coming from AZ to CA and the offer i got in a CA ICU,and i have 2 years experience was appalling…it’s equivalent to LESS money than i would be making in AZ when you consider the change in cost of living.I sent a very professional email asking for at least the equivalent for living in California 😊

I’m a new grad with no experience and still negotiate. Because they need me more than I need them 🤷
I’m a very shy and go with the flow kind of person but once I got that license, idgaf, I didn’t work my ass off for this license to paid crap.

It may just be a regional thing but I’ve noticed that many southern states don’t care about BSN/MSN at the bedside. However, I noticed that one local employer has a position listed that requires a BSN in 5 years. By that logic, wouldn’t they be amenable to paying a bit extra to a BSN/MSN that already had those and required no more* investment in education to help the hospital hit their metrics?
