really? Thanks for saying that, I played on the PTR today, and noticed that the weakest Shred(without Blood Talons and all that) did more than 4x the damage of the strongest Tick of Rake(with Blood Talons and Incarnation etc..). And Rip was just slightly stronger.
Edit: I am a PvEer, and enjoy multi-DoTing, that's why I was worried they made it more Shred-based.

I'm late but...You missed: Balance, Fury, Assassination, Outlaw, Affliction, Destro, BM. Any chance of an updated burst list for ALL classes?
Dont forget that mage burst is having time to cast pyro blast and fireball/fireblast before the timer even starts so its not that that op just a good opener.

I had to come back for that Fire Mage kill... That is just insane. That's not even overscaling, that what you get when you are just putting things in place before scaling even starts. Too bad Affliction locks aren't having that much fun.

i used to enjoy ur vids back in the day when i played wow, and i can say that quality of your content is still really good. theres obviously a tonne of effort put in. i'm glad to see you've earnt this many subs.

+Icy Veins The way I see it is. If you still have wow friends playing then go back if not don't. Or if you don't mind taking the time to make new wow friends then go back, if you don't want to deal with that then don't go back. It's not the game we miss it's the people we use to play with. Well at least that's how I see it. I've tried going back but I always quit after I reach level cap and due to my IRL schedule I can't commit to any end game progression guilds.
As if blizzard would ever nerf or balance mages and huntards, bet it will be another expansion for them to backpedall their way to 2.5k ratng.

well...u have alot of armor. burst shouldn't be tested on a plate class because casters have an advantage. You used to do it on your druid which was way more balanced for melees and casters.
It really doesn't matter. Pure physical damage specs are few since legion. Arms, fury, ww, mm bm and maybe surv.
Everyone else is either pure magic or a mix of magic and physical. Also legion had pvp templates so the classes had their stats set on by blizzard.

I have one question, and I'm pretty sure I am shooting a dead horse here, but it's worth a try. Will you ever do another big montage? I remember watching all of your "Best of each Class" series back in Wrath and I was thoroughly impressed with your editing and the variety of skill among all of the classes. It really would be interesting to see you go head-to-head with some of the best of the best. That, or you could possibly do a montage of some of the veterans of each class. It would be pretty cool to see how long some of these players have been at it.

maybe not, but i'd rather play garrison simulator than vanilla, atleast we get functional raids with actual hard bosses, atleast classes are somewhat balanced and not in a place where dps means frost mage...
+Thor You clearly have no clue about vanilla.Each and every class has a vaible spot in raids, also dps doesn't just mean "Frost mage".Rogues warriors warlocks priests,hunters, and mage could all do great dps if played/itemized correctly. Most classes can do work in pvp if played/itemized correctly...Furthermore vanilla raids were very challenging...Less than 1% of players ever even made it into nax let alone killed kel'thuzad!....that number hasn't been achieved by blizzard since.... if you wanna talk about difficulty statistically vanilla RIPS garrison simulator 2k16 a new asshole:)

Pretty sure some of this will change a lot by the time it gets released, pretty dope to see how some classes that stand out a lot more than others in burst but a lot of the time if all you have is that burst and then your overall damage sucks, then its all about timing your bursts in arena. Makes me re-think my choice for legion what class to roll as my main, although in the end i'm sure as usual mages are going to be a stand out class like all other expansions. Thanks for the video Swifty! Always enjoy watching these!

+Diogo Lima Lets be clear on something. Even in Draenor, dks do not and never had for the entire expansion the most *burst* what dks do excel at is their insane sustain. Dks are the only class that get a pretty big damage buff every minute *Pillar of Frost + trinket*. They cant 1 shot like fury warriors do in draenor now, but I think dks are one of the best in terms of sustain.

Diogo Lima True, but this is why no one cares about 2v2 and titles were removed from there, so dks just faceroll with melee comps, like ferals, WW monks, and warriors. Shadowcleave is still very scary considering how much consistent damage locks and dks can dish out. And not too long ago, PHDK was also God tier. But yeah, I miss our weird yolo builds back from wrath, when Icy touch was our main damage source and we get guaranteed crit procs for days with unh pres
Dr Boom Obviously, we're talking about draenor now and previous patches. They're bound to make vast changes to most classes. I expect Frost strike to get a damage buff though. 13 seconds to actually burst someone down maybe be just a bad example of a frost DK

3:52 are you serious? that shadow priest has already 70 insanity.. that would have been 30 sec preperation.. same goes fire mage with 6 seconds cast.. for me burst is how fast you kill someone from the beginning you press a key
