@@nickphaux Yep I’ve only got a 7, I started on it because it was pretty much the minimum I needed for the genre of music I wanted to play. I started on a 7 string guitar and got an 8 instead, and it’s so hard to go back to a standard one now The fuck off insane scale length took some getting used to, and the higher frets on the bottom strings are quite tricky to reach, but it does everything I need it to do. The bassist that inspired me ended up getting a 9 string bass but I thought fuck that, I’m not chasing him anymore lol
@estebantedesco1348 he's playing on a b string. I'm sure there's a way to play this on a standard 4, but you can't directly translate the tab to a 4. You'd need to tune it differently
@@JamesonTenorio 5-string is not required at all, cause the song is played in E flat, just tune a normal bass half step down and you can hit all the notes

I only have 4 string 😢
he´s only playing 4 notes, they are tuned as a 4 string bass, just follow the tab as it is on your 4 string bass

the actual song has notes beyond a 4 string's lower register. so a 5 string is required.
