@@omegacanon As much as I love Meguro's work, he wasn't actually involved in the brand-new tracks made for Reload, just the reworks of the original game's tracks. This one was composed by Atsushi Kitajoh.

@@pasta_boi8266 yea it is not an easy song. My advice would be to learn it at, say 0.75x speed and increase it once you get comfortable/familiar with the different basslines
I don't consider my tone to be that great, but thank you! I usually hit the strings as hard as I can (carefull with fret buzz tho). By itself this particular bass sounds really dull, but the Darkglass vst by Neural DSP works wonders. Oh, and new strings help too!
for this one i had bass at 8, mids at 5 and treble at 6. might not sound exactly the same because of the gear differences but it should sound similar to mine if not better
