Good review. This is a really good solo puzzle game that, if you are of a more creative persuasion, can create a good narrative. On the whole, I found the way the dungeon cards come out and work with each other can create an interesting story. I did a series of session reports on Boardgame Geek covering the first campaign from the designer's website. It is kind of daunting at first with all the different keywords on the cards, but you soon get a hang of what they do and the game flows quite quickly. The designer is also very active in answering any rules questions posted on Boardgame Geek.
Glad you enjoyed the review. I will check out your session reports, which I haven't seen. I agree with you about the game and also it is true the designer is active in answering rules questions. It is just a bit of a shame, I think, that there are so many ambiguities and over complications when I don't think there need to be. I think this hurt the game from wider playing except for those of us willing to put in an effort to learn it and stick with it. On my end, it has been a worthwhile effort--I enjoy the game and am looking forward to getting the latest expansion.
Yeah it is a real shame here. Not sure what sort of quality control problems allowed this to go forward and it really hurt the game. It is a game that offers some unique dungeon-based card play and I really enjoy it but the designer/publisher just really made the road harder for himself. Most disappointing is that there still is no print version of a rule book beyond what you're directed to download. This doesn't encourage new gamers to get the game. A shame, as it's a good one.

I just got the game plus several of the expansions/delve decks. I will read your sessions reports this weekend!
I noticed that this game has a still being supported and has updated rules. Do you have any additional thoughts?
I sold it in frustration. I wanted to like it so much.
jeez what a mess
