Honestly this series was like a revision of the lore for me but they presented it well. There is nothing new here though storywise but visually a lot of details are added to the plot
This basically gives us some Zen lore. We never knew what the Iris was. Now we know, it is Arora.
No. Iris is something else like a god. Aurora was the first to meet the Iris and channeled her when she turned gold.

one of my favorite personal theories was that i thought iris was just a god program that overrided anubis to give omnics sentience, though i wasnt completely right, the fact that an omnic did essentially become a god program to override anubis to give a CHOICE to the omnics is amazing.

Since omnics are immortal from old age, Do they actually keep getting manufactured or were they just the ones who was remained in the war? Because I can’t imagine the earth being overpopulated by Omnics
As Ramattra says, "We are a single generation. Finite. And dying all too quickly". I think this means that omnic production was stopped, and that the ones alive still are left over from the war! :)

in lore new omnic are not sentient so they all slowly die or was killed and it can be end for them.
But gennesis tell us how they wake up robots, why not try again, if coppy work like origin program sometime one of robots can give his life to all new robots, im sure many of them want to do it. Ofcrose after war humans dont trust them and in many place they are slaves but it is a hope for they kind

@@M1T0K1Dthe next hero is Peruvian, and when that one shot was brightened a little the new hero looked human. It's possible she could be tapping into the iris somehow, but I doubt she's Aroura herself
sigma has a voiceline with zen saying he has met the iris and that was deffo sigma on screen when jay pointed it out

Hm, i honestly think that Overwatch would have a better fit as a Show than it does as a Game, at least as the kind of Game it was suppose to be, anyway.

I’m pretty sure that Aurora will be the next character. When they took the mask off it looked like gold like that image they showed. And blizzard showed that some sort of machine with lightning would be important to her character….

For some reason . I hate watching people being interviewed in animations.. it feels a bit lazy to spare some animation minutes.. 🫠
Personally I'm ok with it. It's not lazy animation, it's a form of story telling that was taken that didn't detract at all from what these shorts were trying to accomplish. These weren't meant to be some action packed flick, this was essentially an information dump on how Omnics were made, how the Omnic war started and ended, and how Omnics became sentient. And the way it was done kept me interested and invested.
