I feel like of hurting subconsciously because by 1 person.... My friend... I dont wanna say their name but lets just call them.... Sophie, Sophie always comes really close to me but I don't like it... She sings in my ear but I keep telling her to stop... She always touches my shoulder and I really don't like it... Whenever me and my other friend are having a conversation, Sophie always just talk to me and making me ignore my other friend.

Just had an argument with a person over how I am hurting myself subconsciously . This is was almost same , he said that I'm over stressing over fictional characters help and paraphrasing their dialogues . For example , the story pearl , spinel resonates with me so I was able to move on and I give credit to Steven universe for this . I used Marcy's line from adventure Time " it's like a wave of acceptance has hit me" . Now I feel like I am a better person and someone who has started healing but he said that I'm doing it wrong and getting too attached . Well I had nobody to help me so I helped myself through shows and songs , idk how I am wrong here . If I could receive any advice , plz tell me guys . I don't think associating and finding solace in a show is bad when u don't have anyone to look upto. Is it bad ?

the video is so helpful ✨,
the 1 st step you can do is to write ur problems on a paper then it’s so important to talk about it with someone that cares for your relaxation and mental health before anything. so that they can give you a strong solutions but you have to know that even if you feel like you can’t do it or it’s not suitable to your situation ! but in general it’s a great solution, just get out this idea and let that person who encourages you to tell you more about their solutions so you can accept their ideas and the solutions

This was another video that ticked all the boxes. Psych2Go, I really cannot thank you enough for doing videos like these. They have brought so much to light for me. And, the narrator's soothing and reassuring voice has helped me accept that it really is OK to not be OK, as long as you recognize that you're not OK and find a good professional to help you. To be honest, coming to a lot of these realizations has made me extremely emotional as of late. But, talking to a therapist has started to help a little. It is a long-term journey that requires as much patience as it does open-mindedness. Finally, to anyone who reads this, please take care of yourself and know that you matter! 🙂

I can usually point to several signs of mental distress from your psych2go videos. The difficulty is trying to exist every day with a spouse who is narcissistic, belittling, verbally abusive, and sometimes physically abusive. My spouse focuses on her problems, blames others, finds fault with others, and is incapable of having any type of friendly relationships. It is very difficult for me to express myself without being told to “shut up”. There is much more I can write about. I’ll save those for when I find a mental health counselor.

  • @MugwumptheGrand

I can kind of relate to being unable to share my feelings with others. But I also wonder if I just don't have any friends who are close enough to comfortably talk about them. When I open up about my feelings to the people I spend time with, they usually have an awkward silence or try to change the subject. It's rare for me to have what I feel is a discussion about my feelings with the people around me, and it's unclear whether that's me, them, or a combination of both. They only want to talk about my feelings if they're positive, otherwise it's just a seemingly awkward topic for them.
