Hey mate, saw your tweet about online abuse, which is sad.
Just thought I'd say you do a great job, to the point where you've got thousands of people without fail tuning into listen to you on their morning commute to work or whilst they eat breakfast every single day for months and even years on end, even on Christmas day haha. Thats just the morning shows too, let alone all the other shows you do.
They do this cause they find yourself entertaining and the show top value and insightful. Ultimately you've become a part of their routine and if you think about it thats a hell of an achievement, to think that many people tune in every single day, not one off occasion, legit daily.
Stay positive bro, top top channel.
This is the best Arsenal podcast in the world!
Georgia playe dvery very well last night. Yes portugal put out a second string side but was firm favourites. Great 1 touch football by Georgia.
If....if Smith Rowe is too go, Crystal Palace seems like a good fit. Great fans, a place to really shine in an attacking way.
Saw the Portugal vs Georgia game. OMG! It must have been a hot time in Tbilisi last night!!!
A football game broke out in the fight between Canada vs Peru in the Copa yesterday. Yipe!
What on earth do some people want, we have had 8 days of warm weather and people are crying for cooler weather, we have had 7 months of extremely poor weather. We need at least 3 months of warm weather.
It’s not that deep Brian, chill (ironically)
We just love to complain. As brits we will forever complain about the weather whatever it is 😂
You guys in England are complaining about the heat.
It's different here in Jamaica. Every single day for about 2 weeks, it rains.
Complete reversal of England and Jamaica temperature 😂
A jolly good morning to thee, Tom!
Happy Trails to you Tom!
26° is a cold day for us here. 😂
Italians don't normally move from Italy Tom
Think I said this very thing
24C high here today, but we’ve got the nice ocean breeze in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. Yep, bragging.
That's why I don't get too involved with cup competitions (FA cup, Champion league, European and World cups): so much has to do with the luck of the draw, ONE bad referee decision etc.....Of course I still would like Arsenal to win everything they are involved in, but for me the league is the most valuable trophy.
Tom I am a huge fan, love the show, always support it, and love how you brought a tempering to discussions. However I will not be tempered in saying hearing the UK complaining about the weather is where I draw the line! As someone who moved to Edinburgh from Florida, a 25 degree day which I think is 70-80? Come on! 😂 (but I get it without air conditioning).
Boo! 😂
UK seems hotter because our buildings in general are geared towards keeping heat in. Most houses don’t have air conditioners either.
And its muggy as well because of the moisturiser in the air
@@reeseprince8 Yes definitely .
Compared to the US, AC's use is very expensive in the UK.
@@josephthybrother9534 I just go to supermarket fridge isles to cool down
Hot is hot. Doesn't matter what country. I lived half my life in Bangladesh and half in the US Midwest, and summer feels brutal no matter where you are (and winter is only brutal in Northern climates).
Exactly!
not Vlahovic, I mean Gyokeres?
PS, what's been people's review of the Euros so far (outside of the England Squad)? Not watched any outside of England, it feels like people are not really excited about it...
A lot of the eastern European teams have shown up this tournament. Even the ones that didn’t make it to Ro16.
I live in Vienna and the vibes around Austria are getting pretty good! Hyped to see how far they can go.
Watching England is just depressing and the whole energy surrounding the team is just a buzzkill tbh.. cannot believe Southgate is still in charge
I’m from London 26% isn’t hot! Madrid on the other hand during summer is ridiculously hot. Makes no sense! Goes up to 40%
I think Eddie could go for £30m-£35m to a championship team looking to get promotion next season. His PL experience would be invaluable to them, and he should score a lot of goals at that level.
Doubt any team is paying 35 considering he hasn't played a lot. 20-25imo will be his selling price eventually and most likely pl
I'm from UK, but I'm with the overseas fans who call out the complaints when it's 26 degrees😂 Can't complain about that, but then drop thousands to go on holiday in a country hotter than that.... whilst also saying how lovely and hot it is while getting a tan🤣🤣 Not Tom specifically, but I've got a colleague who does that
England has been poor all tournament.
So I don't expect England to go that far in this tournament.
That's not even hot, Tom. Over here in AZ it's 107 today... 🤣
This is what I mean Andy. Hot is hot for different people
Zinchenko plays midfield for Ukraine.
England, why on earth is Trippier on corners when they have Saka on the pitch? Madness! Trippier's corners were awful, Saka has a great record with us on corners. Also, note the number of times Saka was in masses of space but nobody was doing the long pass to him so he could run in behind or cut in and shoot, instead they ran forward with the ball and compressed everyone into the final 3rd leaving themselves no space to do anything, atrocious way to play, and it all comes from Southgate's ultra conservative way of playing, which we won't win anything with.
England doesn’t get out of the round of 16, England shouldn’t be beating anyone. The team isn’t good enough imo.
Calafiori CDM with them traits?
Tom, how can you compare Kai Lukas Havertz to Victor Osime? You judging Osime with the AFC ON which is very wrong thing to do, he performances can't be faulted this a player that scored 4 goal that all was ruled out due to one incident or the other that wasn't any fault of his. Hold up play, skills, his spead, ball strike is far better than Kai. Oshime in Arsenal will guarantee us 30 or more goals. Can you say the same about Kai? Injury hasn't helped Oshime in the season that ended
No I did a data analysis of Osimhen’s 22/23 season when he had his best season and compared that to Havertz’s numbers. Finishing wise he simply doesn’t justify the investment.
