Scion TC Head-unit with Steering Wheel Controls Install

Every since i bought my current daily driver 2007 Scion TC i always said that i was going to install a stereo with android auto and Bluetooth. I only had a couple requirements, I wanted to keep the functionality of steering wheel controls, wanted to have a back up camera, have android auto. I ended up using a

You can just ground the green parking cable. No need to actually tap into the parking brake itself. Plus that means you’ll always get all the features.

So glad you made this video. I’m looking to modernize my 07 too. I need back up cam. Around 2010 I was lucky to find a $100 aux cable that hooked up to my early version iPhone and I was back in business but then my fuse for that cable kept burning out. Then the cable was just not compatible with newer iPhones so my 07 went from 2012 back to 07 and now it 2023 and it looks spotless with a crapy sounding 07 system. I’m just going to buy 4 new Bose 6x9s and I’m good with that. I saw the 10 inch that fits perfectly in the rear side but I’ll leave it alone. I just got the new steering wheel with buttons as mine had none when I got the car so I’m getting there slowly. Do you think my car being a stick will stop the rear camera capabilities from showing up on this pioneer system?

I just wired mine up and connected the same ones you did but mine just flashes red and green.

where did you buy all the stuff you need of this install
