It doesn’t work .. fps is barely increased at all.. the performance mode doesn’t even work right as going in and out of battle the motion blur comes back which is part of it and even though it still says performance you will have to manually switch to something else and back to it.. battle load times are worse .. already been tested and somehow they are better in graphics mode by a minuscule amount lol.. the whole thing is a joke .. load times are only slightly better in and out of towns and still horrible loading shops and going around your base .. still tons of crashes around base
@@mcoupe69 Thank you! You've just saved me $50! What a shame! I've started playing it on Xbox and paused for a while hoping for that update, but now I am sure to complete the game on Xbox Gamepass and never buy it physically... BTW, it runs perfectly well on Xbox Series X.

Glad to hear it get a performance mode. I prefer to play those types of games on the go. So I’ll definitely get it on the switch eventually
the only problem i have for eiyuden chronicles .is that dang map freezes every time i check it
i should just sell it and get a ps5 copy
@@junior2k827 Just finishing up the Steam version and it is perfect. I think still the only version you can turn off depth of field. It doesn't take very powerful PC to run it very well. Which is all the more puzzling that it runs so poorly on Switch.
Metal Slug Tactics looks pretty dope. I'm a big fan of tactics games so I'll be picking this up for sure. Especially if they have a physical copy available.
I'm a very patient guy but the one thing I can't stand is when the game crash and lose big progress in the game. If it auto save every so often then I don't care much, but that's just me games. Should work no matter what day one
I thought Hundred Heroes would be a great Switch game. It is not. But it is a great PC game. One of the best RPGs I've ever played in fact.

Dont bother getting the switch version the patch doesnt work well!
im very disapointed w/Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes on switch....not bc the game is bad but bc i got to download a patch that is over 5gb!! that is ridiculous! that is like downloading an entire game... this game is making me have second thoughts about supporting kickstarter games...the first was bloodstained now this game. im not happy, when i buy a physical game i expect entire game on cartridge.
Get used to bigger file sizes because if you consider 5GB big, You're going to be in for a surprise next gen.
The patch doesn’t even work.. performance mode has glitches with it that make it not work properly and battle load times for all modes are somehow worse .. it’s been tested

Broken games on Switch. I'll skip Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, I don't trust ex-Konami indie developers anymore. Goddamn Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now worse on Switch since the May update. Now the game crashes all the time, sometimes I can't even get into my save games. I paid for the game back in 2018, and it worked back then. Now it's broken. That should be illegal, for developers to break a game that I already bought years ago.
Updates and patches can break a game, that's not new. They'll fix that, too, I'd assume.
I'm going to have to try the bloodstained update! That sad that they broke the game! Hopefully they'll fix it! I've already played and beat it on switch and Xbox,but I'm intrigued to see how bad the update is!

You may want to get it. I’m loving it so far man. It’s definitely worth it. It’s a little slow on the loading side and you can’t skip the cool move scenes after seeing them lots of times but other than that it’s amazing! There is an update I just got so it may address a lot of these things. I’ll have to see. It ain’t as bad as everyone was saying.
You should trust them still to this day they got it man so cheer up come on!
