By Richard Meyer
Item: 00-44849
Series: Highland String Orchestra
Ensemble: String Orchestra
Grade 3
Format: Conductor Score & Parts
Put all those ""extra-curricular"" sounds your students like to make on their instruments to good use in this fun and entertaining novelty selection. Your audience will laugh out loud as each section takes a turn adding an unusual sound to a simple dance in 3/4 time. As the piece progresses the counting gets more and more challenging, keeping all of your students on their toes. There's even a part for a solo ""vocalist"" to show off their screaming and gargling skills! (3:45)

best song ever, I've never laughed so hard at a song before my teacher played this in class today
what...the...heck...is this?
@@bettyoster6916 someone sharing their opinion?
I had to play the screaming part in a concert two years ago one of the best memories I have to this day
What was Richard on when he composed this??? I mean seriously this could not have been created without drugs involved.
lmaoo
Crack.
The scream caught me off guard ☠
Frrr them bow and pizz techniques are crazzyyy
It’s all fun and games until your teacher has you play this in the concert. In high school..... Kms......
Eugene Lee is it because it’s too easy
Lucky I’m in 6th grade and my teachers making us play it at our concert 💀 kms...
Gabrielle Xo same
Too easy? We played schubert- overture der teufel als hydrolicus. In my sophomore year and passacaglia. In my freshman we played bacchanale by saint saens and Gluck overture. Also mozart no.25. Yeah my high school went out there
You kidding? I love to play this my senior year. It's just fun and lighthearted. It's certainly no technical masterpiece, but it'd be a nice fun part of a show.
am i the only one who genuinely enjoys this piece it’s hilarious haha
That scream scared the crap out of me
ha
same
Richard Meyer is literally epic and beautiful or completely fucking weird and it’s amazing
Yes
this song is such a troll i love it
That moment when you're the one screaming and girls go up to you and say you have a higher pitched voice than they do and you're like
yea... thanks
That happened to me
@charliesaperson BET THATS YOU
Falsetto is cool if you can use it well! I sing in bass (and play upright bass, go figure) but I can falsetto up to soprano range if I want
This helps my daughter so much because she is playing this song in orchestra :D THANK YOU
I love 1st violin part 😀
Just a viewer yes same because I’m a first violin👍

Gabrielle Xo 😂😂😂
I’ve never played this before, but it sounds so fun and playful! I don’t know how Richard does this.
Lol! It reminds me of the musical comedy bits Danny Kaye use to do in movies. Anyway, that’s my cuz who I haven’t seen in years! And his mom, my Aunt Barbie was one of the sweetest person’s you’d ever want to meet! She’d be so proud of how he’s lived life and all he’s accomplished! 😊🎶
WE GETTING KICKED OUT FROM THE STUDIO WITH THIS ONE! 🔥🔥🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🥶🥶🥶
3:43 the coordination must be insane
This is sounds so fun and I wanna do the screaming part should I recommend it to my orchestra teacher??? 😂

Definitely not his best work
Did you not hear the whole piece? Don't judge a book by its cover.
This is definitely one of his best pieces, Up there with Hemispheres and Swamp Thang
@@ethantamales that is a good one, I can't remember off the top of my head but is that the one that starts with the cello
Oh, come on. This piece is EVERYTHING.
