Megaman Zero 3 - EX Phantom (No Damage/Chips/EX Skills, Saber Only)

Phantom is often regarded as having the best boss fights in the Megaman Zero series, generally being a fan-favourite among the Four Guardians primarily for this reason. This is a common sentiment I agreed with when I first played MMZ1, but I have to say that the Sub Arcadia fight in MMZ3 has done a lot to elevate my already positive opinion of Phantom. Making an unexpected return in the third game in a hidden encounter, it's safe to say that Phantom, now residing in cyberspace, hasn't lost his touch since the first game and doesn't pull any punches, having actually become a faster and more formidable opponent. Given that Phantom opts to test the player's skill at every turn and demands their full attention through an overwhelming barrage of attacks and by way of his speed, the praise for this boss fight is definitely well-deserved.

I literally never knew what to do against the attack where he throws the shuriken down from the air. Always avoided it with the shadow dash chip. This is coming from the guy that can do no damage runs of most levels in the game. Super impressive how you manipulated the AI in this boss fight.
