It is such a common dish that we don't need anyone on YT to teach it to us. One pot dal is the very first dish a lot of us ever learned to cook because of how easy the method is. It is the go to college/bachelor living alone dish because we don't have energy to cook. This method is exactly the one several mom's use when they are tired and still are expected to cook food for the entire family.
This is staple food for me in Europe where I live now, I often cook like this 😊 Just one extra ingredient, home made sambar powder which we South Indian prepare at home
This is my go-to favourite dal..i always have been making it like that only.. quick and tasty.. sometimes south indian tdka n sometimes north indian ♥️
I hav seen throughout my childhood this kind of dal prepared at home. To be honest I never relished its taste and use to eat very less. But once I learned to cook daal in proper way. Boiling separately and mixing g tadka afterwards I like daal. If someone likes one pot daal only then go for it.
Take some masoor daal... don't chop your ginger garlic just crush it will give such an amazing taste.. then add some aam k achaar ka masala before closing your pot and some kasturi methi Aaahhh muuh m paani aa gya 😋🤤😍
No dal recipe can ever compete with "GSB DALITOY"... the best satvik dal recipe ever... No onion, no garlic, no ginger, no tomato... but still the BESTEST DAL!!!
When I have no time to cook I just make myself some rice on one stove, one pot dal on one stove and some pan seared chicken breast on another.Absolutely healthy, delicious, comfortable to my tummy, and a balanced meal with good protein intake
Yes good protein intake with dal and chicken and rice is giving you carbs but fiber is missing so add some veggies to your dal and chicken and then it will be completely balanced
I know this process only of Dal making .since, I started these is first recipe for me in cooking it is also easier n time saver. N very normal in my home I didn't know that this Dal have special name 😂😂
Dal chawal zindabaad thhi… hai aur rahega❤
Add some mango pickle, ghee, and some podi available at home as side dishes. This goes well with spinach dal too

Are you deaf? She said "one pot dal is underrated" she wasn't talking about the dish, she was talking about the procedure.
Are you dumb? That's how dal is made in everyone's home@@_apoorva_07

People do make this one pot dal... And it's called "Dalma" in Odia😊..
No... Bcoz in dalma many vegetables are added
I was abt to say this. Dalma is an improved version of this with further add ons. More nutritious 🥰
Dalma is more nutritious, healthier and tastier than this. It also contains a lot of veggies in it
This is the normal daal made at home everyday but dalma is a wholesome with veggies
Dalma kebe khaina bodhe yaku dali hin kuhanti dalma nuhan bina pariba re dalma hueni
