The way this dal was put forward in just 3 min. Was just vow. This is how it has to be shown. Not by telling granny stories and then making a 3 min video into 30 min. So wonderful receipe and i would like and suscribe this. Thankyou.
Dal should be comfort food, something to warm your body and feed your soul. It doesn’t have to be fancy or have lots of spices to do that. This simple dal is delicious, and it is also easily customized to suit personal tastes. If I’ve got potatoes to use up, I’ll add them. If I’m out of toor dal, I’ll use chana dal and adjust cooking times. This is a great recipe, thank you.
After watching 5 or 6 short videos i saw this one and was like wow that looks good. Watched the video and it was the best out of the bunch so this is the recipe ill follow tmrw 😋 Thank you!

Made this yesterday. My husband said “you have never made a daal like this before”. He enjoyed the flavor of the dal. Thanks
What all to add for tadka at the end?
With that amount of ghee.. even plain boiled daal will taste good.
But did he fuk your brains out?

Agree. Usually people skip videos that doesn't list the ingredients because it makes the cooking process difficult.
Please provide ingredients with quantity in the description itself...helps greatly while watching the video & trying out the recipe

This is Bangla? I think all over Indian Subcontinent this is made in a similar manner.
I think the lentils should be a little blander to balance the spicier curry- but that's me
delicious recipes😊
I use dijon mustard instead of garlic
What did you add in the end
Think you're on about warm 'ghee', Indian butter.
So yummy & delicious recipe
Don't use salt while boiling daals...it will slow down the time of boiling or the daal will not boil properly 😊
Unsalted dal tastes worse
I don’t know how would that happen because saltwater is supposed to boil quicker, scientifically
Yes, adding salt at the start increases cooking time. Salt retards the hydration of dals and legumes.
@@PP-wy5uy Didn’t know that, thanks for the info
@@jaypurohit2036 Add salt to the tadka, which is mixed into the dal at the end.
