This is now the year is 2022. I became interested in diving since the last Olympics when 2 girls from China, Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan, performed a lot better than Chen Ruolin and Si Yajie in this 2013 competition. Quan and Chen Yuxi barely made splashes in last year's Olympics. I am not sure that is how we judge a good dive or not.
Imagine trying to do a handstand on the edge of a platform 10m above the water with thousands of eyes on you? I have sympathy for the Malay lady who fail on her first attempt but eventually made a very good dive.
