I have waited long enough for this day to come: Quan Hong Chan has reclaimed her 10m single title after Tokyo Olympics in 2020 and Xi’An 2020 competition. She has overcome the difficulties faced by many before her and perfected her 207c dive and her overcome the psychological set backs. Kudos to Quan for her impressive 207c score. She has no other formidable competitor other than herself. Well done Quan Hong Chan! Hope to see you sweeping the 10m single title in Germany Berlin in August. You can do it.
She will perform 207B in Berlin Aug 23 instead of 207C.

@@jessicalang7320Quan & Chen have potential to perform 207B. Hope both of them can create a history.
Even though Quan Hongchan won this deservingly but I think, so far, Chen Yuxi is a little bit more consistent than her teammate, Quan Hongchan. Competition results show Chen won more often than Quan. Both are the best ever. Even better than Fu Ming Xia.
@@benthekeeshond545 In term of skill, Quan is better than Chen. Chen seldom make mistake, everytime Chen win Quan because of Quan make a mistake especially on 207C.
If both don't make mistake, just compete on the skill, Quan is the winner

I just like when the Bronze medalist-the Great Britain diver welcome the Gold medals 全紅婵 (Quan Hongchan) and she’s jumped to gave her a hug so at the end she’s standing at the wrong spot. But her teammates which is the Silver medalist told her about it! It’s a very happy together scene. AFAIC.

The Chinese have great diving athletes for more than 30 years but these 2, Chen Yuxi and Quan Hongchan, are even better than their predecessors. It is great for the spectators that 2 of the greatest happen to be competing within the same timeframe.

@@YoHoosierDaddy Go watch the Fukuoka 2023 Women's 10 meter event. Quan got a perfect 10 score across all judges on the next to last jump. Eventually she came in second to her teammate Chen, who also received many 10 scores. They are in a league of their own. Unbelievable divers.
I don’t see the difference between them and the others though. Not any disrespect to China but I’m new to watching diving and I’ve never done it myself so to me all the dives I saw here looked so good, none looked any better than others to me technique wise, I really don’t know what to look for when comparing the dives. When the judges were saying “oh that’s unfortunate” I was like “what’s unfortunate? That looked good!” 😭

可惜啊，剛剛想找全紅嬋妹妹幫忙簽個名的，奈何全妹妹怕生，有點社恐，看到熱情的人群就想著遮臉快速通過。後來領隊叫停她想著讓她給大家一個一個簽認，人人有份，大家有太熱情不挺往前擠，逼得人家連連後退，直接把全妹妹嚇哭了😢領隊隨後立馬就用外套罩住全妹妹帶她小跑逃離了現場，簽名沒要到，還是挺遺憾的

no means to challenge, but the managing committee should be appreciated more. If they allow three athletes from one county, then there will be no other county on the final stage. Actually, nowadays, top 10 women diving athletes are all from China. For these two entry tickets, they fight intensively inside the door.

Because of their young ages, either Quang Hongchan or Chen Yuxi could conceiveably break the current medal tally in the women's Olympic diving events. Currently both Wu Minxia (2004) and Chen Ruolin (2016) are tied at 5 gold metals each.
Ages don't mean any ok. The main resaon it's all about skills. Other countries also can allow get their young ages too. It's up to those countries coach decide to choose.

For non Chinese speakers, when mentioning a Chinese name, you have to put the family name before the given name, like QUAN Hongchan and CHEN Yuxi.
QUAN is pronounced as "CHEE-YUAN".

I grew up doing gymnastics and swimming. Cheeks hanging out were not a thing back then. I wouldn’t let my daughters participate if that uniform were required.
