FIRST START on the KA24de 300zx project car + RC Drifting

- I have always wanted a 300zx project car, but never wanted to work on the VG30 engine they come with. So I decided to drop a ka24de from a Nissan 240sx S13 into the Z32. We pushed through each road block along the way, and are finally able to start the project car for the first time!
We end the night in mini Japan at Meihan Sports land for an RC drifting session!

Hmm… i do remember there being two different mounting discrepancies between a TT gearbox and an NA gearbox, if youre running a NA gearbox and a TT flywheel; you would need to shim the starter. Might be similar with a KA setup

For real dude, I’m rebuilding my Ek civics engine and doing a manual swap. Sadly my friends have been tired of helping me work on it for some reason (it’s been 3 years of sitting, sourcing parts, and saving up money). However, I kind of know what I’m doing and plan on getting it running for sure for sure this month😎

Love the RC Drift Track action... My only suggestion would be to have a green screen around the track and digitally reproduce the Japanese landscape outside the track grounds. Either that or you guys (& gals, if any) wear Godzilla suits so we won't see giant humans standing around the track 😂👍🏼

I love the adapter idea for bridging the 2 harnesses!! Similar to stereo installs. I will try that on next engine conversion. Very well done! The process you did is perfect. I wish others do similar when swapping engines.
