I remember when dizzee and wileys debut albums dropped.. dizzees felt more complete whereas wileys felt so rushed.. i think the streets were always for wiley tho.. because it wasnt just about the albums at the time, it was more about the pirate radio, the features, the sounds and the movement, where wiley was always the pioneer

He made an adult decision to make money for his family with those specific more commercial tracks, I respect that and the way he talks about it. Compare him to a lot of USA rappers, most of their commercial songs are shite his hits were still great. He has underground bangers and a handful of commercial hits i think he made the right decision. My stepfather, who is as white as they come used to play wearing my rolex driving his fiesta st cranking it. He had no clue and still doesn't know what grime is, it makes me laugh to this day I also personally like that song as well as his true grime stuff.
Would really like to see 1 more song from wiley blow up big just to cement goat status

@@rorz999 I was going shops looking for cds and bought the Wiley album, never bought the dizzee album so probs my memories of that time and dizz a bit younger than me and also dizz left the scene around time sort of thing so I don’t know, I’ve just got more love for Wiley really you know, but it’s like politics at the time I guess - shit moves on though, but good memories
