Touching on all topics from the very starts of grime right up to his recent controversy online. We touched on the healthy state of mind Wiley is now in and the core reasons behind some of his less rational actions. He cleared up the back and forths with Stormzy and put a lot of things to bed.

These conversations are so key. I think the discussion about ACCOUNTABILITY is so important. Hearing Wiley hold his accountability is so important for all of us. This podcast allowed him to speak in a safe environment and I think Trist you have given him a really powerful opportunity. My only commentary is about the Mental Health topic. Mental Health is something we all have its about how we maintain it and service our mental health. I feel like our communities (Afro-Caribbean) are so scared to be brandished with “mental health” because historically we have been punished for it. The reality is we all have Mental Health and that is constantly in flux. Trist has proven that by supporting each other and offering spaces to talk, we can support each others mental health. Glad to see this example of self-help, therapy and recovery. Also it is so important to celebrate wins and discuss our Ls. This is the start of becoming our highest selves and was a great spark of inspiration for 2023. Keep building bro! Thanks for the content👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿

Since Wiley has stopped smoking he seems a lot more calm and articulate !!! Been smoking for 31 year and I’m 6 months free !!! And I always thought it didn’t affect me in my life but it definitely did ! I feel a lot more clear headed and clam and my sleep is much better!!! Great interview! Been into all uk bass music genres since 94 jungle - drum n bass - grime - dub step ! And love hearing old story’s of the culture and Wiley is one of the most interesting caricatures in uk music ! A proper legend !!!
wiley is miles better than stormzy, wiley has over 1000 tracks and still has so much to say, a leader, people will never have the freedom we had when we did pirate radio in the next 20 years, real independent, we have gone backwards, we had a fresh set every week, people were happier on radio, now we have 3 or 4 music videos a year... lame. great interview, all the selling out has sent us backwards, no one owns anything to bring anyone through

Wiley is a massive part of my life since i was 12 years old, I’m now 32 and I’m glad to see him happy but am upset that he’s been treated so poorly

Wiley has always been able to articulate himself , in life we all make mistakes and could have said things different . He has caused offence however he has not raped , robbed or killed anyone . Does his punishment of being cancelled fit the crime ? The man has a family to feed .
I like that he's clear headed now but don't like the fact he's keeping it too politically correct on stormzy.

All the cancellation nonsense is all well and good, but be calm, he spoke his truth and I would hope we're allowed to hear him and understand what he's saying even if it was a bit clumsy, and yeh, he could have used his words better but let's be real, we know what he was saying and I rate him for speaking his truth. So glad someone has allowed Wiley a platform to put his story forward great interview. I wish Wiley stayed independent he would of been the undisputed goat of the urban scene today. The music industry is corrupt and promotes the wrong things. We need more independent artists and we need to rid the scene of the people who choose to sell there souls to the devil's.
