The reporters are clueless. Of course the runners don't think they are going to get away. They are not running because they think running will lead to an escape. They clearly believe the odds of getting away is slim. It's about fear and about putting off the inevitable. It's also about having a last bit of fun before they go to jail. The people that run already feel they have nothing to lose by running and everything to gain. While it is absolutely true they do have their own life to lose or the life of another to lose, the mere fact they are criminals suggests that they already have a warped sense of risk vs reward or even a warped sense of morality, otherwise they wouldn't be criminals who create victims and wouldn't choose to run and potentially create more victims. Sometimes people run simply because they are stupid. Meaning that they panic and get locked into an action that fuels that panic even more and they are too fearful to see a way out. Also, many of them are brainwashed by the media and believe the cops are hunting them and they run in an act of deluded self-preservation.

I don't think the passenger was excited about that driver was doing that's why when he got out he went into a complete different Direction with his arms up and laid down hope he doesn't get in a lot of trouble

Now this street had a lot of potholes recently, they just finished patching them. Speeds in excess of FORTY miles per hour. Very dangerous situation. It looks like there's three, no four, maybe five police cars in the pursuit at this time. They're now passing the tree where my daddy hung a tire swing once. Very fun memory from my childhood. Very exciting, that tire swing. I'll never forget it. They're now turning onto Boardwalk Street. It gets very busy at this time of day. Lots of small children playing in the roadway. If we're lucky we may be able to live stream one of them being turned into chunky salsa, I don't know. Another cop car over there in the corner. He moved a few inches forward. Not sure what's happening there. This vehicle that the suspect is driving, believed to be a white male somewhere between the ages of Four and Eighty, is a.. a Dodge Porsche Mitsubishi Eagle Talon Durango Sedan.. chartreuse in color, very fast speeds, possibly a small dent in the rear left corner there that was from that attempt at a PIT maneuver earlier on - which, of course, any time the police car makes contact with the suspect vehicle, intentional or otherwise, is a "PIT Maneuver" - that will definitely lower the resale value of this vehicle.
