This is a video comparing game graphics for each resolution. Graphic options all used the same preset and were tested by changing only the resolution.

1440p is so much better than 1080, and 4k is a nice improvement from 1440. Did you have AA turned off on Forza Horizon 4?
As someone who has both 4k and 2k monitors, 4k is a big difference in clarity in my opinion. It makes games so much more immersive. The question is do you prefer more visual clarity or higher framerate. If you have a powerful PC I would recommend 4k. You get a good balance of amazing visual quality and good framerate. For 4k I would recommend a 4080 or higher. Or a 7900xtx

Can you test 1920x1200 and 2560x1600
I guess the bigger the screen, the more one will notice the difference. But on regular sized monitors or laptop screens, I think nobody would have any bad experiences playing on 1080p

Theres a vast majority of people with capable hardware that doesnt have QHD OR 4K monitors , and they use upscaled render resolutions like 200%
Thats what i wonder as well. For instance im currently playing RE2, RE3 with 200% render resolution and RE4 Remake with 160% render / image quality on a 1080p monitor. Would my image be better on an actual 1440p monitor? Or just minimal?

@sebastianwehler3218 yeah exactly , the difference looks to be very small.
Though , it also depends on Game engine and developers , for example RE and BFV can really see a jump up in quality when u increase the internal render resolution , but some games like uncharted 4 or the last of us did not make a big difference when u increase the internal render resolution ( idunno if its the case for upscaling or just the game doesnt show love for high resolution rendering )
@@sebastianwehler3218 Using higher render resolution for 1080p is great and increase sharpness but QHD still looks better because of pixel density, even if the screen size is different you can notice a big difference for most games, I was playing at 1080p 24' and got 1440p 27' and the difference is big, I can see enemies better for competitive titles and my aim is more stable, but for triple A titles where my GPU can't handle all maxed out (its a 4060 btw) I just lower to 1080p and still have an awesome image, 1080p is aging too well, but its important to test and then decide. I thought 1440p had a small difference but in person its very noticeable for me, for productivity like photoshop and premiere is awesome how much space I got and the sharpness of the previews. But its my experience so it will be different for each person.
@@xandygameryt I totally understand that 1440p is better than 1080p and its clearly visible. My question was about the difference between 200% render resolution on 1080p vs 1440p native. Obviously 1440p native is still better due to pixel density but the gap in quality cannot be that high anymore. 200% image quality makes a game render in 4k and then downscales it to 1080p vs 1440p native. How big can the differenc be? I think not that much. And then the question becomes is it worth it if its only a tiny jump up in quality?
See I like playing fast-paced games so I would prefer FHD with higher refresh rate playing on a smaller screen like a laptop these pretty much look identical color pop very little when standing still.

There is either the built-in + the screen of a device technology.
If it's computer games with a monitor that’s an other.
For the tablets... they write (call it) 2K for UHD.
And there is 2K or 2K Fullview.
There is clearly a difference, it's more sharp on 4k, but since no one play games zoomed you will be ok on a 1080p monitor.
Depending on how big the monitor is, 1440p is much better for 27" and 32"

It is not a good comparison if you display fhd or qhd on a 4k monitor. 2k on a 2k monitor and fhd on a fhd monitor are more clearer than fhd/qhd on a 4k monitor.
Im not sure this is real, I mean, if my monitor is 1440 how its even possible I see the difference between 1440p and 4k?

4K는 확실히 선명도의 차이를 느끼지만
QHD는 어..뭐 좀 선명해지긴 했네..이정도 입니다.
그러니 FHD 에서 QHD로 올리는건..글쎄요..프레임 손해를 봐가면서.,..
4K라면 모를까...
물론 게임에서만의 이야기 입니다.
영상이나 일반적인 사용에서는 선명도에서 차이가 납니다.
맞음 qhd가 진짜 애매함. 굳이 fhd에서 넘어갈거면 바로 4k갈듯
제가 그래서 fhd로 평생 쓰다가 qhd 4k 고민 많이 했었는데 이번에 컴 바꾸면서 7950x3d랑 4090갔고 모니터는 32인치 4k 160hz 게이밍 모니터로 갔더니 체감 ㅈ됨ㅋㅋㅋ 4k가 ㄹㅇ 신세계임

Eu pensava igual mas depois de testar 1440p e 4K pessoalmente eu percebi que tava errado, tanto é q comprei um 1440p e a diferença é bem mais notável e melhor do que vendo através de vídeos, tipo a diferença em Hz, de 60 pra 144 por exemplo, mas de fato 1080p ainda é ótimo e vale mt a pena pra rodar os jogos, porém se o hardware for capaz vale sim o upgrade pro qhd.

фулл хд мертвая в 2024 году,мыло просто убожественное,что не делай,какие настройки не ставь в 3Д,мыло будет всегда
