Thank you for the video- it was a huge help. When installing the new axle, I found it easier to lay on my back and used my leg to lift the upper ball joint assembly up and out of the way. Being a little older, this seemed to work great for me. Thanks again!
@@HomeWorldDojo I did this several years ago now... But I had gotten good enough at it that I could do an axle in about an hour. I think I got the axle on rockauto.com but it was so long ago, I can't remember.
Hello, whats the thing called stabiliser clutch? Can it be replaced by normal stabiliser rear link? Its on a trooper irmscher model 3.1 its located at the rear stabiliser i believe theres a button switch called ‘stabi”
Can't recall.... This truck went through several CV shafts, including at least one Chinese one. I found that the OEM remanufactured ones from cardone were the best option.

What happened to the clip on the inside joint? Did you have to replace that
I just reused the old one.
Any chance someone has a tools needed list for this job?
To be honest I don't think it required anything special. I'm pretty sure I just used regular tools. Mind you this was years ago

The broken shaft - was it OEM or one of those chinese types ?
