How I Edit an Image from Scratch to Finish

  • This is how I edit a photo from scratch to finish. (The photo I edit was shot on my Fujifilm X100f, and therefore the RAW file may edit differently from your camera)
It's a long video for a seemingly process which requires constant validation whether the edit you have done, is the right one or not. I've kept this video as unedited as possible, so it's a longer than normal rendition, but it includes, literally, every thought that I have while I edit an image. It gives you a rough idea of the kind of questions you should be constantly asking yourself while you edit an image.
Hope this helps you out in any small or large way possible, and if it does, drop by in the comment space below and let e know how it helped you. Also let me know anything that you would like to know more about in the upcoming videos on this channel.
PS: There's alot of noise on the GH5 footage, YES I am aware of that. It was a technical fault from my end, wherein I forgot to set the ISO properly.
PSS: the video could have been edited and colour graded better. I just really lost my patience because I was working with three different codecs and my premiere pro just refused to work smoothly. I did the more minimal edit before I literally blew my brains out trying to keep my sanity.
You can follow me on Instagram @vink.photogrpahy. to see my recent work, and to stay updated about the upcoming videos on my channel.

Thanks buddy 😊🙏🏻 well i've just been using camera-raw since a very long time...so i keep on using it. When i first started out...i found camera raw much less intimidating...so i used it instead of lightroom

That was a great video I am following you form a long while , I am a fashion photographer holding an exp. Of three yrs in fashion industry. But your vintage edits , the way you make your model pose. The way you play with the colours . That actually changes the perspective of a fashion photography to the next level. Thank you for the video. Was waiting thurally for it hope to see more from your side, with love.
