But when I wanted Hildryn prime blueprint I maxed 6 relics and never got it. Ended up having to cough up 30 plat
Paying the plat itself to me isnt that bad, its how much the devs charge for it if you have even the slightest of jobs lol, you wont have the time like lets say maybe a high school student might have? What im saying is, they rely on you losing patience and giving in so i would reccomend either keep grinding or just dont bother, or do what i do and just get yourself pissy about it and just play the level you want but with zero expectations of getting it and you will lol its how all of life works, the second you dont want it no more you get it lmfao same happend to me last night
I didn't grind her the old fashioned way, I just sold some of the prime parts I didn't need for platinum and used that to buy Hildryn prime off another player.

That's exactly why i subsumed her 4 for voracious metastasis lol, with high strength & low efficiency setup it regens just about stupid amounts of energy to literally everyone on the map
Also to note that she's featured in the Helminth skill Parasitic Armor. It sacrifices shields for more armor, plus the conversion rate can double or triple the amount of armor depending on power strength. And with some upgrades like Rejuvenation, Arcane Grace or both, you can literally turn Hildryn into her own version of Nidus or Inaros. She can tank on both sides of the spectrum!~
but why would u do that? the skill removes all her shield so she cant cast anything and makes her extremely vulnerable when the skill runs out as she cant cast it again instantly
@@turkeykent3719 For fun duh, plus I'm not gonna just stand in place & take all the hits when the duration ends. Use a powerful CC gun like Cedo, take cover and wait for some of her shields to recharge to activate Pillage & then done. Pillage costs 150 shields regardless of negative efficiency last time I checked, now even if the efficiency is effected the cost would still be low~
@@BZUltimix if thats your idea of fun then why not just play inaros? like i said it removes all her shield so she cant use any of her abilities. she's just a bit tanky and like inaros this method doesnt scale into high lv sp at all, the shield gating passive she has on the other hand scale infinitely, she has 2 of them

I remember people saying she was gonna be crap since Shields at the time were dogshit and Shield Gating wasn't a thing back then. Then she came out and got some buffs, and HOLY HELL was she one my favorite Frames! To this day she has replaced a lot of Tanks I use, and I usually go back and laugh at Rahetalius' video on her since that shut aged like milk lol.
Thermia fractures is live now and it's an amazing necramech leveling method, for voidrig just use his 4 and for bonewidow use the larkspur regular or prime, it's not nearly as fast to level as a warframe but it's prolly the fastest method outside of void storm lu-yan
Fun fact: during the Orphix Venom event she was THE meta pick for her ability to generate tons of energy orbs in a wide area for the Necramechs with her ultimate. Literally the only time her ultimate was useful v.v
blazing pillage is basically mandatory because if u run 400% str for full defence strip u wont get any shields on follow up cast from stripped enemies, so u still need that augment outside of infested missions
That farming montage makes me happy i got my hildryn prime within like 12 relics because after farming a bunch of her gold drop relics from profit taker she dropped on the first one
managed the prime in 7 Axi relics and probably 2 or 3 of the other relics thankfully, still it's baroo tomorrow so I have a lot of prime parts to shovel into him now...

I was a hildryn main since day one of her release; bought her gear bundle from the market. And apparently she was pleased with me, because her prime was the easiest prime I’ve ever farmed. Larkspur prime took a fair bit longer though.
I was a new player when she came out and bought her with plat i was mr 10 then. After 2,5 year break i started playing again and now im mr 31 and Hildryn is still my most used frame. I loved the idea of she being a shieldbased frame. What energy? And for her 4 i use gloom with 95% slow with 21m range so it isn't too much. Now I need to main the prime :3
Lavos is easily the most unique warframe in the game but Hildren is 2nd. A really good buff and appropriate change to Aegis Storm is actually giving her another balefire because as of now, it's only a visual change with no damage boost whatsoever. Another one would be decoupling her height requirement and letting her actually hover like a helicopter and letting you "sprint" during. Her base kit is incredibly solid tho with no need for gimmicks to make strong work of and only seems to keep getting better as warframe's general power keeps creeping up even if she's not directly touched somehow
yeah, things like Archon Vitality doubling procs from Blazing Pillage manage to push her higher and higher. I'm wondering what crazy stuff Duviri will give her access to synergy-wise.
Man, when I was a Warframe noob, I had a bunch of plat from buying Nekros prime access, which I used to buy Hildy on a whim. Samm, this lady carried me through so much of the early-mid game, it really is a shame that other new players have such a slog grind before obtaining her
Ooooh, I finally know a piece of trivia that isnt covered in the video! Hildryn saw some fairly major use during Scarlet Spear! Not on the ground though. She was one of very few frames at the time that could generate massive amounts of energy orbs with her 4, which the necramechs needed in space to abuse Guard mode/arquebex because barely anyone had a half decent mech build at the time and that was one of VERY few ways to clear out objectives fast enough to keep the meter running. This is the only time in my entire warframe career I used her 4, and Im a damn Hildryn main.

I found interesting strat for endless helicopter mom, use the 1 augment and the raksa kubrow, with some efficiency and duration you won't even need the arcanes to get full shields and the bale fire gives overhsields. Maybe they tested the augments way before releases and it's why they forbid the use of pillage in the 4. Unaugmenthed hildryn would be a lot more sustainable of she could cast pillage with 1/3 the benefits and use secondaries while flying. Zephyr doesnt have those limitations anyway. One thing I dont know of archon shard energy orb efficiency helps her or not.
Appreciate the seizure warning, Also I feel that relic grind, I ran a bit over ten trying to get the bp and then after I ran out I did an axi pub match for traces and some rando put one in and got the bp. What stopped me from getting base hildryn for so long is how completely bugged exploiter has been since deimos.
U think buying Prime acces (the 70€ one/82$?) is Worth it? Bc Its so much Plat compared To other Things. Or should I buy myselfe 15 Regal Aya. And then get rhino prime since o got the other ones already. And some cosmetics?
Honestly her 4th is a insane ability and is over looked what I do is just make the range insanely huge and go operator go around like that plus with operator you can move her where ever using their movement

It's a really specific gripe, but the way I have to recast Haven in case a Bombard pops my shields literally kills the entire frame for me. I only bring her vs Corpus due to how good Balefire Surge is and how Adaptation works nicely against the Corpus high-damage units.
with balecharger you forgot to mention that it scales with both range mods and hyldrins range stat, and has 0% falloff. blazing pillage is also viable for nuking steel path post veilbreaker
Never bought prime access, but larkspur prime was the first shiny new prime thing that I actually actively farmed and I'm glad I did. I think it's the only arch-gun I'll ever need. Not bothered with anything else in this prime access, just larkspur prime.
This is why I am to this date more fan of the old void keys farm system than this relic stuff. And ever since I also has been doing void relics and baro way less. Also I remember the event of those stupid thermai stuff. I did some scanning then also bounced when I gotten the Opticor Vandal. Till this date I have touch those thermai event. During the time after failing so much in groups I also found a way to grind the Opticor on my own with Khora. The video is still on my Channel lol.
Edit: Just had someone posing as nova umbra YT channel with a "Text with me on telegram" on their name so I repost my comment here. As a now Hyldrin main, I can understand why people find thermia farming boring, but I didn't know before that you only have to place canisters one at a time, that would've been a worse if they didn't add that feature where you can now place all 4 canisters at once. Sheild SNU SNU is definitely worth it if you invest your time with her. Prime or not Hildryn definitely can help you tank longer.
My builds aren't that great, its just casual setups, there are plenty of proper build creators who can showcase you a build that's very efficient and effective.
To add to the data hash scanning. I was on I think my 3rd year of Warframe, and had LITERALLY NO IDEA THAT WAS A THING. Sure I'd see Reddit talking about the hashs in terms that meant nothing to me and assumed it was some AR promo or something, but literally it was not mentioned anywhere ingame, only (I'm assuming) on a devstream.). So most players didn't even know this existed and the odds of seeing those little pads while otherwise doing things in the Vallis was basically non-existent. Also yeah, poor Inaros, he just keeps sinking further and further down. Last I ran the math he's 5th ranking eHP tank, or even 8th if we count Nezha, Yareli and Rhino using their abilities. And even that is assuming someone is choosing to tank with just eHP vs DR or Invulnerability powers. (If you're curious, #1 eHP is Wukong, that bonus 150% from his passive lets him sneak up lol.)
Mentioning anthem got me thinking back into a that time. I miss it. There is almost no game like it. The exploration of that beautiful open world was so good. Sadly there is no way to play it again… -_-
Dose that limbo thing still work as I never bothered for the vandal back in the day and I’ll probably have more chance at running it 100 times than I will of getting a 4 man team 12 times.
Opticor Vandal is not a side-grade. It has 40% increased burst DPS, higher status chance, and a higher slash weight for more bleed procs. And don't say "at the time" it's current stats are identical to the stats it had on release and in that clip. And the regular version hasn't been changed either, aside from the changes that happened to all weapons (no self damage, radial lower fall off for both of them, ammo changes, and aoe's not counting as head shots)
This was before we had galvanized mods, weapon arcanes and subsumes, on a technical level yea it is a direct upgrade, but the point wasn't really because of its stats, people like opticor because its a heavy hitting meme damage laser gun. Vandal was frustrating for many players because it took away that fun factor of Opticor and made a sideways overhaul to be more fire rate and crit focused instead of raw damage. The Vandal improves the opticor by taking away its main attribute and appeal.
I wish they would add to Hildryn's passive because the fact that her current passive is already an effect that exists in the game as a default kind of sucks. Just a secondary effect added on.
I don't know if this my brain being stupid or its the dementia kicking in, but I swear that on consoles players were able to farm for Hildryn before she was even released. I remember owning Hildryn before the update even hit because I farmed for her.
I stopped playing a little after hildryn was released, (just lost interest) but I came back a week and a half ago just in time for her prime. So I’m going for her prime right now.

Even though Hildryns 4th ability gives her a second bailfire charger, it doesn’t actually increase the fire rate at all.

19:22 enemies also need to be in line of sight to be affected similar to ember's fire blast, it doesnt go through walls like nekros's terrify

Also I remember the event of those stupid thermai stuff. I did some scanning then also bounced when I gotten the Opticor Vandal. Till this date I have touch those thermai event. During the time after failing so much in groups I also found a way to grind the Opticor on my own with Khora. The video is still on my Channel lol.

As a now Hyldrin main, I can understand why people find thermia farming boring, but I didn't know before that you only have to place canisters one at a time, that would've been a worse if they didn't add that feature where you can now place all 4 canisters at once. Sheild SNU SNU is definitely worth it if you invest your time with her. Prime or not Hildryn definitely can help you tank longer.

My builds aren't that great, its just casual setups, there are plenty of proper build creators who can showcase you a build that's very efficient and effective.
To add to the data hash scanning. I was on I think my 3rd year of Warframe, and had LITERALLY NO IDEA THAT WAS A THING. Sure I'd see Reddit talking about the hashs in terms that meant nothing to me and assumed it was some AR promo or something, but literally it was not mentioned anywhere ingame, only (I'm assuming) on a devstream.). So most players didn't even know this existed and the odds of seeing those little pads while otherwise doing things in the Vallis was basically non-existent.
Also yeah, poor Inaros, he just keeps sinking further and further down. Last I ran the math he's 5th ranking eHP tank, or even 8th if we count Nezha, Yareli and Rhino using their abilities. And even that is assuming someone is choosing to tank with just eHP vs DR or Invulnerability powers.
(If you're curious, #1 eHP is Wukong, that bonus 150% from his passive lets him sneak up lol.)

Opticor Vandal is not a side-grade. It has 40% increased burst DPS, higher status chance, and a higher slash weight for more bleed procs. And don't say "at the time" it's current stats are identical to the stats it had on release and in that clip. And the regular version hasn't been changed either, aside from the changes that happened to all weapons (no self damage, radial lower fall off for both of them, ammo changes, and aoe's not counting as head shots)
This was before we had galvanized mods, weapon arcanes and subsumes, on a technical level yea it is a direct upgrade, but the point wasn't really because of its stats, people like opticor because its a heavy hitting meme damage laser gun. Vandal was frustrating for many players because it took away that fun factor of Opticor and made a sideways overhaul to be more fire rate and crit focused instead of raw damage. The Vandal improves the opticor by taking away its main attribute and appeal.
I would say a second downside to Hyldren is how wide she is meaning weapons with higher zoom makes her take up 1/3rd of the screen.

I don't know if this my brain being stupid or its the dementia kicking in, but I swear that on consoles players were able to farm for Hildryn before she was even released. I remember owning Hildryn before the update even hit because I farmed for her.
I stopped playing a little after hildryn was released, (just lost interest) but I came back a week and a half ago just in time for her prime. So I’m going for her prime right now.
