Do you wear socks with your converse?? Do you recommend me to wear socks with my high top converse?? I need to know I just got mine new to me don't know much about them

1 Tbsp Water
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
Mix with toothbrush
I did this a few months ago and it worked great but this time i forgot to add the hydrogen peroxide so idk if it will work hopefully it does

….but ( for converses) that’s NOT dirty nor grimy. True veteran “converse wearers” know that a good used pair of converses 100 times dirtier and grimier than that

I love this first of all because a lot of your cleaning solutions do not involve super harsh chemicals and it's so nice and no that's what I have around my kids my grandkids and my dogs and just my family and general is not going to harm anybody.

Hydrogen peroxide is hardly not a harsh chemical. Get it on your skin or your eyes and you’ll know what I’m on about

I prefer colored sneakers because I just can’t keep anything white lol. Yay, now I’m going to try white!!
To keep the rubber along the bottom of sneakers clean I use a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover.

I made the mistake of using on red koolaid stain on my carpet... the stain it no more... but the carpet is a lighter color. Thank heaven coffee tables. Love your vedios.

This worked somewhat it cleaned it but placing under the sun This caused them to turn a yellowish shade due to the sun’s natural bleaching effects. I found this out the hard way

I recommend to do this when it is hot outside. It only works for me when it’s hot outside.

So far so good! My hubby has also used this method with good results.
This is exactly why I came to TH-cam, my converse turned yellow after I scrubbed them with Dawn dish soap 😑

this works and it got out some grass stains and mud and dirt stains and my shoes are really white now but if you leave it in the sun for too long it makes your shoes yellow

Ah Holly you must live in Manchester lol. The uv light reacts with the hydrogen peroxide and bicarb I used a similar solution to re whiten old discoloured white plastic using the above. A UV lamp would help the whitening but a dehumidifier helps do the drying process

So I did this and left my pair outside and now they are HARD. Any suggestions on how to make them less hard/stiff
Wear them and a little heat 👍
Wet them a little and throw them in the dryer. I do this to mine, but I don't let them sun-dry. Once the solution hardens on the shoes, I wash them in bleach and detergent, then dry them in the dryer. Works great.
I tried using scrub brush hot water,Tide mixed with sneaker cleaner still not very white gotta try this method. Another easy way is to not buy white sneakers.

1 table spoon of hydrogen peroxide

1 tablespoon of baking soda

Technically the mixtue of hydrogen peroxide,water and baking soda is a suspension not a solution sence the baking soda will sink to the bottom, a true solution will not do that, but to be honet who cares ,great video.:-)

they're converse chuck taylors! so either name works. i personally use both interchangeably :)
Converse also have other shoe models besides chuck taylors
